Spa room
I LOVE these. I had a professional install them in a spa room at my salon. Super cozy and luxurious feel. Very lightweight.

Tedious to install but well worth the struggle except around the perimeter of work space
The review had to be updated! Initially, when I submitted my first review, only the center of the ceiling was completed. It never entered my mind that there could be issues when applying these panels to the perimeter of my ceiling. Trust me! The struggle is real unless the dimensions remaining happen to be the exact measurements of the panels which is not likely. The directional placement pattern I chose for my panels also played a significant role in this dilemma. I put a border around these PVC panels with a different pattern in the same hues. Quality is still wonderful, but plan your entire placement before jumping in.I ordered these panels to attach to my out-of-date popcorn ceiling. For prep; make certain the entire,.,.ceiling is dust-free without moisture issues. Find the center of the ceiling by measuring it, not the walls. Use a chalk line and cross them in the center. You will use the lines for reference to ensure the panels are attached in straight lines for a cohesive look. You must use LEXEL polyurethane caulking (clear) in case you apply too much. Since the panels are not flat on either side, you must apply the Lexel to all areas that will touch the ceiling. DO NOT USE liquid nail or any other substitute for an adhesive backing. It will not work. I tried that, and I had to scrape the liquid nail off. Luckily, I realized it wasn’t going to work before it had been cured. However, it would not form any type of bond.My installation method was as follows; I applied the Lexel to all surfaces in direct contact with the ceiling in a bead the size of an earthworm, I applied the adhesive outside in the sun for an additional jump start to the curing process, I allowed the first panel to sit in the sun while I applied the Lexel to the next panel, then I placed the first panel in position on the ceiling while the second panel started curing. These panels are lightweight, so it's not impossible to achieve a secure bond. When placement is made, be sure to overlap each panel with the corresponding panels along the lips on each side. Doing so will ensure each panel is the same distance on all sides to the next one. This will result in an even pattern, also making certain to follow the chalk lines first. Start in the center of the room, where the chalk lines cross. To cover my 130-square-foot ceiling; it required 4 sets of 12. I only used half of the fourth set. I highly recommend these ceiling panels.

Realistic PVC Wood-Looking Panels
These PVC panels are quite sharp looking. The wood-grain design is quite passable. They are very light-weight, so I can see why use on a ceiling is suggested. I bet they would look very nice in that use.We wanted them for a waterproof covering in the laundry, to look more interesting than say a peel and stick vinyl wallpaper. Thee have a very nice and definitive texture. I personally liked the way the panels look lining up the lines to travel in the same direction, rather than alternating, as in all the product listing photos. If that's something you're wondering about, they look great that way. Just be advised that the squares still bevel out the same way as if you alternate the line directions. I used a transparent and waterproof silicone construction adhesive to not only hang them, but bead between the showing edges of each panel, as well as where they meet the structure of the wall they were put up on, and it kicked the project up a notch, in my opinion. As for the use of construction adhesive, the backing of these panels offer more space for using adhesive than other PVC faux-wood grain wall panels we've had. This made it MUCH easier to install these. This would be MOST useful if doing them on the ceiling, but if that's your jam, I would use a high-tack construction adhesive rather than a waterproof one like I opted for.Anyhow, these are super nice looking. I was very glad to be able to try them out, and would suggest them if this is something you're looking for. We've had more expensive panels of this type look worse and that were much harder to work with. These panels were superior in every way to others of this style we have worked with.
