Great Doorstop!
I have an exterior door that, when opened, hits the dryer in my laundry room. My wife put an old shoe on the the floor in front of the dryer to keep the door from hitting the dryer. It has been there for 15-20 years! I put one of those hinge pin doorstops in the top hinge, but it always works itself loose (actually the pin rides up a bit over time and allows the doorstop to sag and next thing we know the door was hitting the dryer). So the shoe solved the problem and we lived with it.I saw this and since it has double sticky adhesive pads I realized I could mount the long piece vertically on the tile floor right near the hinge and stop the door before it hit the dryer. The door opens into the the washer and dryer, so I couldn’t install a doorstop like you would if the door opened against a wall. So far this is working great and, for me, the adhesive pads were absolutely necessary. There are a few complaints that they don’t stick good enough, but I cleaned the floor and door with alcohol, as suggested, and they are holding fine.

Effective door stopper
The value for the money is great. I used the command strips to adhere to the floor and door... no problem with adhesion. It appears very sturdy.

Not for heavy doors
This product cannot be used on heavier doors, and it was difficult to install. It wouldn't really nail down into our floor, and it was hard drilling a hole into the correct place in the wall/door.
