This DVD is a good watch for the holidays
*Disclaimer: This Amazon Review is written by Steve Nwachukwu for a college assignment.*For my Amazon Review I wanted to choose the “Cartoon Network Christmas - Yuletide Follies DVD” to talk about. The reason why I wanted to review this specific DVD from Cartoon Network was because this DVD provides great episodes from nostalgic cartoons like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow and Chicken, I am Weasel, and last but not least Dexter’s Laboratory. Back when I got this DVD in December 2014 (7 years ago) I was anticipating quality and entertaining episodes from each cartoon and this DVD did not disappoint at all. Even though some people (naysayers) might say that some of the episodes don’t relate to Christmas at all, you do feel a sense of the holiday spirit regardless. Lastly, a thing I liked about the DVD was when it had “‘Tis the season with Cartoon Network’s first ever Christmas DVD. This collection of merry tales will have you dreaming of sugarplums, snowflakes, and canine-eating nutcrackers?!” on the back of the DVD cover. I felt like they put that on the DVD to entice buyers of how good the DVD would be (even though it won’t make you act like that). When going through all the Amazon reviews for this DVD I found one Amazon review that I genuinely liked. My favorite review for the Cartoon Network Christmas - Yuletide Follies DVD was from a person by the name of Nicola Napolitano. According to Nicola Napolitano, “Out of all the Cartoon Network collections, this is my favorite! Classic cartoons and not to mention some of the best ones are picked here!”. I definitely agree with what she said in her review because out of all the Cartoon Network DVDs (including the Cartoon Network Halloween DVD) I have at my house, this specific DVD had the right selection of Cartoon Network cartoons. Also, this DVD had the right episodes that match the theme of this Christmas DVD as well.Comparing this Christmas DVD to Cartoon Network’s second Christmas DVD called “Cartoon Network - Christmas Rocks” the first DVD (Cartoon Network Christmas - Yuletide Follies) was so much better than the second DVD for a few reasons. One, the first DVD had a better theme than the second one being about rock and roll. Honestly, I felt like the rock and roll theme didn’t really match well with that Christmas DVD because rock and roll and christmas don’t really mix well together. Two, the Christmas Rocks DVD had a good selection of episodes (for the most part) but in my opinion it wasn’t justified enough to be as good as the first Cartoon Network Christmas DVD (Cartoon Network Christmas - Yuletide Follies). Third, the rock and roll bonus episodes from these cartoons sort of ruins how good this DVD can be. Back when I watched the rock and roll episodes in December 2015 (this was when I got the DVD) I thought those episodes were alright but I felt like those episodes really ruined my holiday spirit and vibes because those episodes had nothing to do with christmas. Also, with that in mind it destroys how I think of the DVD in general.Overall, this DVD is a great buy for anyone that wants to enjoy watching classic Cartoon Network shows for the holiday season even if they’re not Christmas themed. From my personal experience, I liked watching the episodes from this DVD every Christmas whenever I had the time. You can sit back and relax while drinking a cup of hot chocolate and eating christmas cookies with friends and family because of how well put the DVD is. The overall theme, selection of cartoons, and selection of episodes make the Christmas DVD so wonderful to watch. Lastly, with that in mind the DVD is worth it (even with how much it costs now) because you’re getting a really good value out of it.

Great Childrens Cartoon Special Collection!
I absolutely love this Dvd, I received it several months ago and am now just writing a review. With it being close to christmas time I have watched it multiple times recently, although not having any special features, it is still a fantastic product that contains many of my childhood favorite cartoons from Cartoon network. My Personal favorites on the dvd are:The Johnny Bravo Christmas Special in which Johnny takes a trip to the north pole to deliver his and his mothers letters to Santa Claus guest starring Donny Osmond. This is the particular special that I bought the dvd for.The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy Son of Negral, a much darker christmas special where billy and mandy and negral's son all go to Winter Camp and Negral takes the form of multiple characters and scares the other children at the camp.Comment if anyone wants any more information about the dvd specifications of what it contains.

Good Stuff!
I'll be honest, I had to pay $30 for this DVD. It's a lot more than I generally pay for a DVD. However, I had to have a Johnny Bravo Christmas! For years I've been watching it for free on YouTube but this past Christmas it was blocked. I was delighted to find out that it was available on Amazon. My husband didn't want to pay for it but, in the end, he wanted me to be happy and my Christmas wouldn't have been complete without the Johnny Bravo Christmas special.
