Very nice little tool, way too expensive for what it is though, but considering where it comes from, to be expected. High quality from Japan as usual.

Great for tying knots especially in cold weather when my hands are shaking. The instructions are specifically for tying leader to main line but I use it for many knots. I put it on a lanyard around my neck and wear it the whole time I'm fishing.

The tool is promoted for a single purpose, tying a mono leader to a braid line. Its the other knots it will make way and fast that interest see more. I just got mine but it ties Clinch, Improved Clinch, Trilene, and both Rapala Loop Knot and Lefty Kreh Loop knots perfectly and in seconds. Probably also be useful to tie tippet to leader and many types of line to line connections.

Ties a leader line on. Honestly cannot tell if it is any better than my hand-tied double uni knots (and that is not saying much - my knots are not super clean). Time savings is fairly negligible in my opinion (and I am not very fast doing any knot by hand). Overall I cannot recommend this product, especially for the price. I was really hoping for something that produced super clean knots - and this just is not that. If the price were closer to t-e-n dollars, then ya, probably worth it, especially for people new to knot tying with fishing line.

This is actually a super handy tool. I attached a lanyard to it and I wear it around my neck every time I go fishing. It makes tying a leader-to-braid knot super fast and easy. It’s also handy for untangling line in a baitcaster.

For what this item is mechanically it may seem a little overpriced but it does exactly what it is designed to do; tie a quick ,easy, strong, small knot between two lines. Anyone that uses Florocarbon leaders on braided line and is having trouble with knots should try this item.

REALLY EXPENSIVE......but for some reason this awesome tool is very limited in the USA as many cool things from Daiwa. Mine came from Las Vegas Nevada? Hmmmmmm. But if you want a absolute NO FAIL, braid to mono leader knot and be able to tie it fast as all hell. Than this is your tool.I can tie about any knot around but do I want a faster way in the wind and bouncing around on my charter boat with customers? YES!I wish these were around at local sporting good stores, like a Daiwa reel is. I don't see why not? Whats the big deal Daiwa??Loads of Youtube Video's convinced me, and now I have it and yeah, it maybe $30, but I love gadgets and gadgets that really make life easier.Isn't that what a gadget is?
