Lovely coiled cables that are perfect for charging with good organisation

People old enough, like I am, to remember corded telephones from the ‘80s and earlier may find these cables a little bit nostalgic, because the coils are strongly reminiscent of old telephone cords, in the size, the colour, the feel, the sprung behaviour, everything. Using one to charge a smartphone feels quite appropriate.When first unbagged, the two ends of the cable naturally point inwards, meaning the cable takes up remarkably little space considering its possible length. This makes them a very compact option and good for travelling, or keeping in the car.Both cables work exactly as advertised. I don’t have a specifically 60W set of devices to test, but fast charging at lower wattages worked without any problems, and data transfer between a PC and an Android phone chugged along this cable at the expected respectable speed.The connector ends are quite narrow, so they can slot into a smartphone charging port even if it’s in a chunky protective case. Despite being narrow, the connector ends don’t feel weak or vulnerable.These aren’t the cheapest USB-C cables you’ll find, so unless you specifically want the space advantage of the coiled cable for travel, it would make more sense to buy a cheaper but equally capable cable. But for travel, these are great cables, and the old telephone nostalgia element makes me quite fond of them too.

Bought these cables, collected them from my local Amazon locker, plugged one in to my car and phone... all that happened was the Android Auto icon kept flashing. Took them home, plugged one into my PC, it did recognise my phone, but then wouldn't let me connect to it.Returned for a refund. I think I owned them for at most 20 minutes before returning.

Spiral cable pack of 2. Bought this for the car as it stated it worked with android auto and did not want lengthy cables trailing all over. I have a Peugeot 3008 year 2017 Tried it and one definitely did not work although my Samsung s24 ultra recognized it but the car does not I tried the second cable and the car noticed it for a split second and then will not connect. I will try with my PC see if they work on there slightly disappointing as I paid £10 for these and they looked like good quality.

Do not buy this for Android auto, as it does not work, even though the title states it does! Returned.

J’ai acheté ce chargeur pour ma dashcam. Il fonctionne très bien depuis plusieurs semaines.

I needed only one, but forced to buy 3 because of the packaging.I'm not very sure about the charging speed as well. My device used to charge way quicker with my older, but shorter cable.
