Excellent for washing
The sponges are excellent for washing a car. They are durable, high-quality, and are very smooth on the car paint. I regret not buying and using them sooner.

Perfect for the car
I use these to clean my wheels. Cut in half they are just the right size and very soft to get into all the crevices. I also use them in old pantyhose to clean bugs off the front of my car. Be sure to cut them in half before removing the plastic, much easier than when they have expanded to full size.

Does not hold water.
These sponges do not hold water; they "soak up" nothing and when wetted, the water runs right through them, to my great surprise.Cannot recommend.
