This knife sharpener did a better job on my larger knives, but I had issues with the smaller knives. The suction cups on the base make it mostly sturdy, but not completely. When it does work, it works well (on larger knives) but the clamps have issues. A good idea, but needs tweaking.

I was most excited to receive the Sharp Pebble Knife Sharpening System. I have had the product for a few weeks and have sharpened about a dozen of my knives over the last few weeks and I found the sharpener to be difficult to work with and challenging to sharpen most knives. First, I went online and registered my product in order to receive a return email with a complete operating manual which was to be sent via email and now almost 2 weeks later still no email anywhere to be found. I also have found the sharpener very cheaply made of plastic which does not seem to be very sturdy when attempting to sharpen and knife. You need to insert the knife in a clip and tighten it down in order to begin the sharpening process and the clips do a very POOR job of keeping the knife in place to keep the motion requires to create the edge on the knife. It is a bit dangerous and if you are sharpening a narrow knife like a paring knife or a thin slicing knife it is extremely difficult.I have been sharpening my knives for a very long time and I was hoping this would be a great solution for me but I honestly cannot recommend this product if you sharpen your knives often.I have tried to make it work for me but it just is too difficult an has too many design flaws.

The product is cheaply made, broke after 1 use.

My husband absolutely LOVES his knee knife sharpener. He opened it immediately, put it together quickly and easily, and used it right away. He said it’s VERY well made. And a very smart design. He prefers this method of sharpening his knives now over all others he has employed. And he has just about every kind of knife sharpener in existence.

This knife sharpener does the job, but I would really only consider it as a budget option. The two biggest things to note: It isn't as sturdy as it needs to be, and I'm not sure it'll hold up with serious use. I would only get this one if you're 100% looking for an entry option to occasionally sharpen knives and don't want to spend more on something that may last a bit longer.

I was really excited to get this knife sharpener because I have very expensive knives that have gone dull, so I wanted to rejuvenate them with a sharp edge. Since I am not a master knife sharpener, so I decided to get a "good" knife sharpener to help me get the job done. Unfortunately this knife sharpener fell short of my expectations. To start, it doesn't not feel very well made or sturdy, some of the plastic parts should have been metal. The lack of instructions makes it incredibly difficult to figure out. The clips that hold the knife in place do not secure well and I am worried that the plastic pivot joint that moves while sharpening will not last long.

I thought I’d finally found the perfect knife sharpener. Unfortunately, it missed the mark.PROs-The degree of angle can be easily set using the convenient adjustment knob. No need for an electronic angle finder. It is very accurate.-The suction cups securely hold the device to the countertop. Be sure to clean your counter with some isopropyl alcohol before using. Otherwise, it will slide around.-Worked great on two (wider blade) chef knives-It turned an $8 KIWI knife into a razor. Seriously sharp.-Very easy to flip the blade to sharpen the other side.CONs-Couldn’t sharpen an expensive Japanese boning knife because the stone hits the clamps. As a matter of fact, I’m going to have to take this knife to my whetstones to repair the damage to the edge.-It’s very difficult to tighten the clamps enough to hold the blade steady. I had to I’ve a pair of pliers.-The plastic piece at the pivot point broke after just two uses. I will be returning this. This went from a 5 star review to a two. Very disappointed because it worked really well on wider blades. I would have kept if it didn’t break after two uses.

It can't hold my fruit knife at all, it shakes! Useless! I think I need to improve it
