ASICS Men's NOVABLAST 4 Running Shoe

ASICS makes a great running shoe. This is my second pair of the Novablast 4 and around my 8th pair of ASICS. They are super comfortable and very light and airy for those long runs. I admit I do replace the insoles with high arch running insoles. Hope there is a 5 version.

I love asics. Everytime I buy their shoes, there's no break in period, they always come out of the box feeling amazing.I bought these because I just got into running and I'm 205lbs and heard these are one of the best comfort shoes and they are also asics so I had to try them.I did a 5K first day I got them and the next day, my feet don't even feel anything, as if I didn't exercise at all. Very comfortable and worth it if your training to last long in a marathon.The back heel section does get sweaty tho because of all the padding, but I also love in Florida and it's super hot outside so there's that.

I’ve always worn ASICS for long distance running but have never owned a pair of these. Now having about 20 miles under these, I won’t be needing any other type. Very comfortable for long distance running. Plenty of cushion and support for my high arches.

Luego de pasar de unos Nimbus 25 con más de 1000km el cambio a los Novablast 4 ha sido brutal!, Conservando la misma comodidad de los Nimbus, la reactividad de los Novablast es un salto absoluto, tanto así que en fondos de zona 3 bajo el mismo esfuerzo la velocidad mejoró en 20s / km a la misma HR o incluso menor.Son un poco ruidosos pero no es algo que en realidad sea un problema.Están enfocados principalmente a quienes corren con pisada de medio pie y ante pie, si bien puedes entrar de talón ppr su excelente amortiguación, no son tan estables como los nimbus, dado que el talón es más estrecho.La transición de la pisada es bastante fluida y propuesta e invitan a avanzar más rápido sin tanto esfuerzo.Tienen un único defecto que puede ser complejo en algunos casos dado que causa incomodidad y es debido a que su lengüeta es MUY CORTA, sí MUY CORTA! y además de esto NO tiene pasador para los cordones lo que hace que se vaya hacia adelante dejando sin protección la zona superior del empeine luego de pocos kilómetros, esto se agrava debido a que además su fijación lateral al zapato es muy delantera y favorece que se desplace hacia el interior.Probablemente personas con pies más gordos o empeine elevados no sufran por esto, pero esto es una falla de diseño inconcebible para una zapato premium como el Novablast 4, más teniendo en cuenta ejemplos fabulosos de lengüeta como las de la Nimbus, con excelente elasticidad, rango de protección y fijación.Por esta razón no le otorgó 5 estrellas.Soy un corredor recreativo, de 82kg con ritmos medios de 5:30 / km.

The softest and lightest athletic shoes I have ever tried.

The shoes are a perfect fit, true to size, the style is great, very confortable with high quality, and I can see my son going to use them many races. I am very pleased with this purchase and I strongly recommend this shoe if you are doing a XC races.

As a newer runner my body is adjusting to the impact forces as I up my milage. I run for fitness, pleasure, and sport. And I noticed that I need a shoe that I can use to nurse and baby my body.Gosh I wasn't prepared for the science and the geekary that the community has around shoes.I haven't had the need for technical shoes at all ever.These shoes changed my life and Opened my eyes to the world of running shoes, comfort, physical therapy, and so much more.I must have tried 5 or more pairs of shoes from various brands over the course of weeks. Brooks, Hoka, Asics, Nike, Adidas.I kept coming back to this one.It's soft. Like walking on a cloud, and it's more responsive than maybe the soft Hoka in my opinion.I don't know what to tell you. After raising my milage week after week and the impact forces getting annoying, these shoes have changed my life. Thank you Asics.

Great shoe, very responsive with a low heel drop. You can definitely feel the stack height and the upper is the best that I've seen in a shoe. Used for about 100km but it has a lot more life in it, highly recommend.

Needed a shoe that can do a bit of everything for marathon training along with easy daily runs. The Asics Novablast 4 are perfect for just locking into your pace and keeping your legs cushioned but still responsive and bouncy. I typically run over 13KM everyday in them and have taken them for some faster workouts and long runs. Already purchased a second pair because I like them so much. If you need a new running shoe these are it!
