Q: Is it possible to disable the beep that goes off when you change a setting?

Not that I am aware of. I have to add water every 12 hours. Since that is the only time I use the beeper it does not bother me.

Q: Amazon, when your discription uses the word large,, then the manufacturer uses the word medium, is that diseption.

It's probably more of an opinion. You also need just one comma after large, and a question mark after your question. That is called an observation.

To my knowledge, the filter is permanent and contained within the tube. It will be cleaned when the unit is cleaned. I would contact the manufacturer for a more well defined answer.

Hit the add plus symbol on the top right corner. Choose the 2.5L ( it connects to it even though mine was the bigger one). Connect to your wifi (make sure it's not 5g). It will find it and connect after a few minutes.
