They're also surprisingly light for a heavy-duty pair of boots.They're plain goes-with-anything black boots, although I also like the extra bits of detailing - the three stars emblem on the side of the boot, and the hashed fabric panel detailing - still a really neutral design, but a bit less boring, style-wise.All in all, absolutely excellent, especially considering what good value they are - practical, built to last the toughest of workplaces, but they won't break the bank. I've worn these for work for four days now and my feet aren't very comfy. They fit much more like a trainer than a boot and have quite a narrow toe box. A half size would be really helpful as much like many trainers these are slightly too small in my normal size. As a multi-drop LGV driver I go through boots quickly, but I don't think these ones will last as long as 'true' boots with a stiff sole. The sole is much more like a lightweight hiking boot or welly than a boot sole and has no stiffness to it. Overall if a half size was available I'd probably buy again at the right price, but I don't think I'd pay full ticket for them. The build quality seems reasonable but I do have my doubts about any sole protection. Certainly wouldn't wear them if I was worried about nails or screws underfoot.
