I’ve been using this serum for about two weeks now, and I’m really impressed with the results. The texture is very lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin without feeling sticky or heavy. It layers well with my moisturizer and makeup, with no pilling at all. Even though I’ve been staying up late recently, my skin looks more hydrated and brighter than before. It also feels smoother and healthier overall. I have fairly sensitive skin, and this didn’t cause any irritation. I would definitely repurchase it.

You know, honestly, there are so many skin care products on the market that can be expensive, but yield no noticeable results, and then you have this affordable serum that you really don't get your hopes up about, but you try it anyway. I'm a 61 year-old woman with dry, flaky skin, rosacea on my cheeks and nose, big pores, and many deep lines and wrinkles. This stuff is absolutely AMAZING! I noticed a difference in my skin after 2 days, and so did everybody else in my life! After a week of use, my sister-in-law asked me if I "had work done". Not gonna lie, I was half offended and half giddy! My skin isn't dry and flaky, my pores look smaller, lines less deep, and it has allowed my other serums to work more effectively to actually start fading out my rosacea. Unbelievable! Just cleanse, apply the Cetaphil serum, and give it about 5-10 minutes to absorb, follow with any other serum, then moisturize and sunscreen! It's not sticky or greasy, it doesn't pill up under makeup, and I bought another bottle already even though I have a 1/2 bottle left because a little bit goes a long way, but I never want to run out! If you have mature, dry skin, you NEED this in your daily skincare regimen!

I love this serum. Cetaphil products have always worked well for my skin. I put 2 drops of the serum mixed into my Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion normal to dry skin and Laura Mercier Real Flawless Foundation for my morning makeup. I just rub it on with my fingers and it applies evenly. My chin is no longer red and flakey. This moisturizes all day. My pm routine: remove eyeshadow with Farmacy balm, micellar water my face and wash with Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser, splash with gentle toner; then apply Cetaphil moisturizing lotion normal to dry skin with 2 drops of the Cetaphil ceramide serum. I have been using for 2 months during the winter and it has helped keep my face from drying out. I have tried MANY products to moisturize and stop redness. This routine is actually working and the products are very inexpensive! Maybe this will help other people. As long as I mix the serum with the lotion I get no skin irritation. There is no scent. As of now I would definitely buy this product again.

I used this serum for about a week and it was incredibly hydrating. My dry skin felt moist and calm, my retinol didn’t sting, my skin felt happy. Sure enough, I developed a large patch of cystic acne on my left cheek. Perhaps just too hydrating for my combination skin type? Acne prone skin should maybe tread with caution. Good luck!

I have very dry skin in the winter and have found that serums + moisturizers help tremendously, but I tend to use a lot of serum. I have some very expensive ones that don't last very long the way I use it. I need one that works but doesn't cost too much. This serum is great, not sticky, no fragrance, my skin drinks it in, and it's reasonably priced.

I love this barrier serum. I’ve tried other brands but they break out my reactive skin. I use it every AM and PM, it helps keep my barrier healthy with using a retinoid. No irritation with this product and it is not sticky. No scent either which is great. It definitely plumps the skin.

I’ve been using this stuff for a few months to help my oily, sensitive, acne-prone but dry (because I’m over 40) skin get a little more moisture when my humid climate turns drier. Does a great job softening skin and hydrating overnight. My skin is much smoother now than it has been in a few years, and as long as I use it sparingly and avoid my chin area, it doesn’t lead to breakouts or leave weird bumps like literally every other hard core moisture product. I use on top of Cetaphil oil-free daily face lotion.
