I saw mixed reviews of this product, but ultimately it was the only option on the market that supplies its own cooling instead of ice packs, so I bought it anyway. After about one week, here are my thoughts:Pros-couldn’t be easier to set up and program mealtimes-easy to remove and clean the tray-my cat took to it instantly and seems to like eating his wet food from it (he already sits and waits in front of it)-as mentioned, it’s really the only option that doesn’t require the hassle of manually freezing ice packs every day-size is manageable and impressively compact-runs VERY quietly which is greatCaveats-This is not a set it and forget it. you should still have someone check on your cat every day to make sure they’re getting fed while you travel. I saw others here complain about this but honestly you should have someone check on your cat once a day regardless. So far the machine has been reliable, and it has battery backup power as a failsafe too.-I do wish they had a version with even more meal options, but this product means I only have to dish up food once a day instead of three times for my kidney-sensitive cat, so that’s enough to be worth it for me.-I wish there were multiple options for the dinner bell—maybe even a pre-recording option to do a custom sound. The chime sounds a lot like our doorbell which is mostly confusing for me thinking there’s someone at the door every mealtimeSo far so good, now I’m hoping it lasts a long time!

Out two cats can't have dry food. Being away from the house can be stressful since we can't leave their food out, we used to be reliant on friends and family to feed them while away. I was hesitant to get this due to the reviews, but we had a lot of day trips coming up and I needed to try something. It took a couple weeks of training to get both cats to eat from it without hesitation, but now they eat from it like they would their normal bowls. We've been using this for almost 2 months now.Overall PROS:-The 3 compartments are large. When all compartments are filled to the max line with food, it can feed our 2 small cats for 2 days.-Setting the schedule is easy, no problems with the app yet which aren't user error-Our cats are grazers and are used to eating their meal over the course of hours. When setting the schedule, you can have the food accessible for up to 4 hours.-Keeps the food cold and fresh for days-Our plug seems to get hot once the device first starts up, going from room temp to cold. Once it reaches cold, the plug no longer feels hot, I am not concerned about plug safety.CONS:-The "feed now" feature can mess up the schedule if not used properlyWould highly recommend to anyone whose cats can only eat wet food. This device has saved us so much headache just in the last 2 months!

I give it a 4 because the device was excellent, but kitties said no way!When I saw this I thought it was the perfect solution for my cats. They eat small portions at a time, multiple times a day. During the week I am not home for the mid-day feeding.Problem is they were not fans of the devices. Not sure if it was because they were big (bigger than I realized), plastic or if they just didn’t like the whole experience. Would not eat from them. Tried multiple times, over a couple of weeks, while I was home, while I wasn’t. The device itself worked perfectly, easy to schedule and use the app, easy to clean, refrigeration was spectacular, but a very expensive device to not be able to use. The little bell when the door opened was not annoying and got their attention. They just didn’t like it :(

I feed my kittens wet food twice a day. This wet food dispenser has 3 feeding chambers oriented in let's say the 6, 9 and 3 o'clock positions. You can program, via the app, which chambers you want opened at any given predetermined time. I prepare the food the night before with food in the 6 and 9 positions. I then program the device to open the 6 position at 7am and the 9 position 12 hours later. What happens? I come down at 7am and the 3 position is opened with no food there.Ok! I think this is an easy fix. The device is rotating the tray clockwise so all I have to do is orient the tray accordingly by placing the empty chamber in the 6 position. Nope. That worked for 2 days then I came down the 3rd day to an empty feeding chamber.I used to try to feed the kittens 3 times a day but this device is so unreliable, I figured 2 times a day is less margin for error. I was wrong. Sometimes the device fails to open at all. Other times, the tray fails to rotate so the kittens will eat at 7 am and at 7 pm the device opens to the same chamber that has already been eaten.
