Honest review of portable fan.
TLDR:This fan is very nice for cooling yourself off, if you naturally sweat. It is not an AC so yes, it will blow hot air but if you’re sweating and in a place where there is no ventilation, moving air feels better than no moving air at all. The fan can be bulky, but its power, and battery at lower levels makes this fan hit all the marks as a cheap and easy to use portable fan.Full review:I'm a chef who lives in Arizona and as the summer has rolled around it has become increasingly more difficult to keep myself cool in a hot kitchen while it’s also very hot outside. The temperatures in my workplace can exceed 100°F and can leave you absolutely drenched in sweat. I haven’t gone about trying other personal portable fans, but this one for its price is quite nice.First off, despite the fan being quite small, its four modes are quite enough to blow a substantial amount of air. I’ve found that this fan does quite well if you’re the type to sweat a lot, which can easily evaporate your sweat and leave you far cooler than expected. The battery lasts just fine, and I haven’t really found many times where I’ve had to stop and charge it unless I’m running it on max for an extended period of time. However the fan does take a bit of time to charge, around 20-30 mins from what I’ve seen. It isn’t too bad if you charge it before going out. Though the upside is that it can be charged and used at the same time- so if you have the ability to set it up on a desk or table while it charges and still get air it works just fine.Power wise, it isn’t going to blow your hair back like it’s some type of dyson hair drier, but if attached to the collar of a shirt pointed at your face, or the base of the pants directed up the back it will give plenty of air to cool you off. You will have to be careful with positioning since the fan draws air in from the bottom and vents it out through the top, so if clothing blocks the bottom intake, you won’t get any airflow. That can easily be solved by clipping the fan on an area away from loose clothing, or bundling up the clothing so it doesn’t cover the intake. You can’t expect the air to hit your face from your waist- that’s crazy.Noise wise, on the first two levels they aren’t too loud. Though the third and fourth levels can be a little noisy, but doesn’t bother me as the sound gets drowned out in a busy kitchen. The sound on max is about as loud as hearing a vacuum in another room. It’s a noticeable hum, but not nearly as loud as other reviews say.Lastly, for comfort the fan isn’t too bad at all. It is a bit bulky and the clips to attach to clothing aren’t the best. The fan works best when pointed DIRECTLY at what you want to cool, and at times moving around can shift the fan away from its desired position. I also wouldn’t recommend using the outer clip as it doesn’t hold strong enough to clip onto thin material and does better clipping onto a thicker more grippy material like leather. At the moment I’m working on developing a stabilizer and attachments for the fan to upload for others to be able to 3D print.

Highly Recommended Waist Fan
I recently purchased this Waste Fan, and it's been an absolute lifesaver during these hot summer days! The design is incredibly versatile – you can either clip it to your belt or hang it around your neck. This flexibility means it's perfect for any situation, whether I'm gardening, walking the dog, or just lounging outside. The fan is surprisingly powerful for its compact size, providing a refreshing breeze that makes being outdoors much more comfortable. The adjustable speed settings are a great feature, allowing me to customize the airflow to my preference. Even on the lowest setting, it does a remarkable job of keeping me cool. One aspect that particularly impressed me was its battery life. Once fully charged, it lasts several hours, so I don't have to worry about it dying in the middle of an outdoor activity. Additionally, the lightweight design ensures it doesn't feel cumbersome or distracting. Overall, this Waste Fan has exceeded my expectations and become an essential part of my summer gear. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to beat the heat comfortably and conveniently!

Super fan!
Love this fan. I use it at work. It’s super cooling, great air flow and keeps me cool. A few things though to consider if this fan is for you. The air intake is on the bottom so you can not lay it on the bottom side to blow upwards. When clipped on my pants, if your pants waist aren’t sturdy the fan didn’t point upwards towards my face as I would have liked. The last con for me was the noise level. However, that’s just because I work in a public environment. The battery life is amazing and again the fan works great.

Great for Theme Parks
I purchased these to take to Orlando FL in Mid June! They were amazing! My 8yo and 5yo could use them independently! I wore mine on my waistband almost the entire time we were there! It kept air moving inside my shirt and kept me cooler!! Kids used the strap and had them around their neck! They are easily packable and the battery life kept up with our demands!!! Highly recommend!!!

Acen Tested, Acen Approved.
So I bought this on a total whim for ACEN this year. For those that don't know, I'll provide some context. Acen is a place where people go to cosplay and celebrate various anime fandoms. Pay attention to the "cosplay" part that comes into heavy play later. Acen is in May. Those of us that go to Acen know that it can sometimes be hot outside, that is compounded inside, that is further compounded when you have THOUSANDS of people walking around eminating body heat, sweat, and various forms of caffiene/energy drinks. (Side note: if you use spray deoderant Axe is NOT your friend, Old Spice is where it's at). One of MY cosplays involved a three piece suit. This three piece suit was a full on Men's Warehouse Suit that was well made, nice to look at, and comfy to wear. There was one...slight issue, it was not made of ANY cotton. For those that are unaware of how fabric works; cotton is one of the more breathable fabrics. The material of this suit was NOT that in the slightest. Cue me worrying about dying of heat exhaustion and/or ruining this suit with sweat puddles worthy of a flash flood warning in downtown LA.Enter the Personal Waist Fan. You see I had googled means of staying cool and most were things worn around the neck or things that were much bigger. Then I find this little gem which has multiple points of securing itself to one's body, an easy charge feature, AND adjustable settings. Plus it was about half as expensive as it's competitor far as I can tell. So I buy it, and I wear it for Day 1. I then proceeded to wear it for Day 2, and Day 3, and now I will wear it whenever I work outside. This thing WORKS. Lasted all day at various settings (Mostly used it at second setting as that was sufficient), and kept me from dying. PLUS when people asked me how I wasn't dying from the head and I showed them my little secret? Oh boy did they ask where I got that from. This was a gem to have, and I will be making use of it A LOT this summer, and whenever I'm indoors working in a very hot area, and when I can't open my window in the winter, you get the idea.
