I played it last weekend at my brothers house with some friends. It was a lot of fun, so I bought it for myself. If you plan to play with more than 4 people, get this one to play with up to 6 people.

This is a great family game. I lije games that I can use my brain to strategies.

I have a few coworkers that bought the 6 player regular sized game for their houses. I prefer the smaller one because it’s usually only me and my daughter that play. This is perfect for us and anyone else that wants to play.

This set has the instruction book and is incredible quality. The color on the tiles is set in and will not easily be removed. It has a great weight and feels substantial while playing. Perfect set for smaller hands it is also great for an adult. This is a great set for the money. With it’s own bag, it is compact to easily be stored or taken with you on trips or camping.

I have never played Rummy before. The instructions that came with this set seem very thorough and gave me the basic idea of play with making sets and runs until one player uses all their tiles. I did still need to watch a video to really understand how exactly to play the game. Make sure you type "Rummy Doublefan tile game" in the search bar. Rummy as I learned on YouTube, is normally played with cards instead. I was able to find a 5 minute video that showed exactly how to play using the provided tiles. I do like how the provided instructions shows and explains examples of the different methods that can be used to manipulate the tiles. This provides a good reference for when we are playing and as we learn to play the game. I think this game is fun because I enjoy figuring out how to make sets and runs, and especially how to manipulate existing sets and runs. This concept is a little more challenging to younger players, but kids can still have fun making basic sets, runs And adding to the existing ones. They can watch more experienced players manipulate tiles and this helps them learn to do so as well. This is a fun, easy paced game, that can be played to pass the time. We chose not to play with the one minute time limit per turn so that it is a more casual, leisurely paced game. The tiles are small, which is nice because you don't need a lot of space and can play on a fairly small surface. The tiles are numbered clearly and easy to read. The bag that everything comes in is compact and can easily fit inside a purse or stored in with camping gear or in a drawer in an RV . This is a fun, great little travel sized game set.

It's a travel version of Rummikub, but with more pieces. I don't actually own Rummikub, so I'm going a bit off of memory/google, but regular Rummikub has 4 colors, this has 6, along with 4 jokers.Note: The amazon description currently says there are 3 sets of 4 colors, but this is wrong; it is 2 sets of 6 colors.I can't tell you what the 6 colors are, because I'm colorblind. I can say that I can tell them apart, though it does take some effort. If you have colorblind friends, you're probably better off with the 4 color version.The bag is a nice travel-size bag, made of a cheap, yet durable nylon (it says canvas, I guess a canvas-like nylon?). The racks adequately hold the tiles, though they don't have a lip to keep the tiles secure.It also comes with a 6-sided die for some reason. I don't see the die mentioned in the rules. Maybe it's to figure out who goes first? It's not like you could draw tiles and see who drew higher...

This review assumes you know and love (or will love) this fantastic game that is fun for the whole family.The set itself comes with well-made, durable pieces that fit nicely in a convenient size. My only comment, which would not be enough to dock a star, is that the outer bag did rip when I opened the package, but it was my own fault for using a knife! Just something to note when you open yours!Highly recommend.

I had bought a Rummikub game for 4 and loved it. We decided to get this game for up to 6 players so I ordered this set called Rummy and was very disappointed in it. The tile set for players were very very small, held few tiles and the tile colors were not bright enough. We played the games with 6 players and we ran out of tiles early into the game, 3 players weren't even able to lay down yet! It needs more tiles and bigger tile stands to hold the players tiles. Unfortunately I discovered this after the date where I could return it so I am stuck with this. very disappointed in this product that was not cheap.
