Was dubious as to how strong these would be, especially for the price, but they're brilliant! Only downside is that both straps go the same way, and the strap under the foot is way too long, but these are minor issues!

The media could not be loaded. I do have a good heavy duty ankle strap for use with my weights machine. However I only have one and what drew me to this listing is that it appears that you get a pair. They also looked heavy duty enough whilst also being easy to fit. I do like the idea of being able to fairly quickly swap from one leg to the other without having to swap the strap over.When the straps arrived there were indeed two and they were sufficiently heavy duty. One small niggle was that there was no carabiner supplied and so I had to scavenge one from my resistance bands.In use the straps were easy to put on and were comfortable when lifting fairly heavy weights. This was due to the area of coverage of the leg and the fact that the wrap around belts were padded. I will be quite happy to wear these for my leg exercises and will find them more convenient than my present set up.Value wise £11.99 is a fair price to pay for a pair of moderately heavy duty and well made ankle straps that should give long service.

They have a really strong chemically smell, that I cannot seem to shake from them. I don't know if the smell will ever go, but this is something to be aware of about. This is still a 5-star product because the metal d-ring is strong, the velcro holds tightly, and the padding is well thick, and protects you perfectly. There are no loose threads or stitches, and a big bonus is that you can use this not just for your ankles by having the strap under your foot, but you can also have this strap adjustable and removed if you like, by simply not pushing it through the plastic buckle. Both are mirror images of each other, so there is specifically a left and a right, however in all reality these could have also been the same and it would have worked either way, I don't think it makes any difference. They are quick and easy to put on, and besides the smell, I have no issues attaching them to my feet and using them in the gym. It would be nice to see a carabiner provided with these, because most ankle straps do come with a carabiner, however I don't think that affects the review from a functionality perspective.

These are better than the ankle straps i purchased from fitness depot. Easy to get on and off, sturdy and comfortable. Can’t beat the price either, would definitely recommend!
