This is, perhaps not surprisingly, a Rummy-style game, which uses tiles instead of cards. There's more to it than the card game, though. There are six suits instead of four, and you start with 14 tiles in your rack. The idea is to play all of your tiles first.You can not only play your own sets, but add to existing sets. And there are also various ways you can manipulate the sets already in play, such as borrowing a tile from one of those sets to help you form a new set (so long as the old set is still legal). I like that manipulation aspect, which for me is the most satisfying thing about the game.However, I wanted to try this set not so much for the actual game, but for its tiles. I like the idea of being able to play various traditional card games using these tiles instead of cards. Why? I'm a board game hobbyist who owns hundreds of games and sometimes I want to play a game outside, say at a beach café.Card games are normally ruled out then. A bit of rain, a gust of wind, or some spilt drink can make cards a no-go in those situations. But these lovely little tiles are absolutely fine.The tiles are heavy enough to cope with a bit of wind. They feel durable. They feel lovely to hold. And there are so many card games you can play if you're okay with not actually having diamonds, clubs, etc. and just go with the colours.The build quality is pretty good. The yellow and orange tiles are a bit close in colour. A few of the tiles have got a slightly faded colour, but it's minor.This set might also be good for playing card-style games with young children who may struggle with holding a hand of cards.Overall, I'm trilled with this set as a new way to play traditional card games on the go. There are two sets of numbers for each colour, and four jokers in total, so basically, I've now got two decks of playing cards as tiles. But the actual game it comes with is quite fun and should appeal to Rummy fans.

We have a full size set with wooden tile holders and domino sized tiles which we have enjoyed for years. This set allows us to take this pleasure on the road it is small enough to fit in the glovebox of the car or a small carry on bag for a flight. Excellent and a fun game.

This is a nice compact set. The bag is made of sturdy materials and the zip seems to be durable too. Everything is small of course but is big enough to handle easily and see. The game pieces pack snugly into the bag. There is a set of instructions inside too. A really nice set. Recommended.

For fans of Rummykub this is a great travel set. It is really light and compact with good quality tiles that are easy to see and four little blue tile trays. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the trays only have two tiers whereas three would have been useful. But I can see why they have done that because it would compromise the compactness. Overall an excellent buy.
