I bought 2 of these... Returned the first one, thinking it was defective... then the second one did the same thing... there is a plastic wrap covering the gold and after about a week of wear on both bands, it peeled off, and the gold then started peeling off as well, showing an ugly black under... Its a shame too, because it is comfortable, and looked really good for a few days... But I will be returning this one as well and looking for something more durable.
