Great purchase
This jacket works really well and for the price it's a no-brainer. It's lightweight, but actually keeps you dry, unlike other lightweight jackets that claim to be raincoats but are really just windbreakers. Fits true to size and is a good shell that can fit layers underneath. I bought this because I had previously purchased the Marmot Precip jacket from here, looking for a quality lightweight raincoat. But like other people have stated, it doesn't take very long at all for the inner lining of the Marmot Precip to start to disintegrate and flake off. I don't know if it's just poorly made, which seems weird for a Marmot product, or if it's a counterfeit? This Eddie Bauer jacket has a mesh lining and you can tell it's way better quality than the Marmot. If you're looking for a good raincoat that is affordable, built well and is genuine (Eddie Bauer is the listed seller) then you can't do much better than this one.

Quality functional jacket.
This jacket is awesome. Feels quality and strong, light weight but thick enough to not feel cheap and packs inside of itself to be about the size of a small travel size pillow. I bought this rain jacket in hopes it would be small enough to keep in my small work back pack. It does take up a bit of space in the bag but will be good to have working outside most days. As far as fit goes it feels perfect for me. Im 6ft, 270ish pounds, I don't have a big gut Im just a little thicker guy in general and it leaves me plenty of room without swallowing me in it. Really happy with this purchase.

Excellent rain jacket, but a little too small
Love everything about the jacket--comfortable, hood fits well, rain rolls right off, keeps warm like a windbreaker, plenty of pockets, extremely light weight and easy to pack. My only complaint is size. I typically wear rain jackets with a sweatshirt underneath, sometimes even my fleece jacket. Tight with sweatshirt, and pretty much undoable with fleece jacket. The problem is around the waist and shoulders. If you will wear on top of layers, err on the side of a larger jacket.
