"Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah" are words of deep wisdom from one of the messengers sent by God to enlighten humankind (in the line of Buddha, Christ, Muhammad, etc.). Or so the Bahai's, of which I am one, believe. Even if you're not a believer in Baha'u'llah's status as a messenger from God, you can't argue with a lot of his words, which still resonate today as much as they did in the 19th-century Middle East. He calls for kindness, peace, and universal brotherhood/sisterhood. These are noble ideals for people of every religious persuasion.

Everyone should read this Book! This is more than a Book, it is a new Revelation, the prescription for living, the cure for the ills of mankind, coming from the One Source.

I enjoy reading this book because it made it very clear that all religions come from same source and their teachings( the Golden Rule)were explained according to the capacities and understanding of the humanity of that time. Also reminding us that we have to love each other and live in peace with others. All and all this book makes sense and I highly recommend others to read it too.

I am please and enjoying it very much. I play it every night at bedtime and I gently go of to sleep. The readings fill my soul.The reader's voice is clear and seems moved by the Words of God.I certainly gave it 5 stars!

This book is a bit like having the highlights of the Christian Holy Bible compiled in one volume, but that is not a good analogy. Whereas the Holy Bible is full of history, stories, and parables, this Baha'i scripture is expository in nature.

This the most beautiful book I have ever read. It has been transforming my life and educating me since I first ready it forty years ago.

My favorite book! Will read it over and over again and always get something new and revealing each time.

Religion is at a crossroads; many have turned away from it because they are disenchanted by its lack of relevance in a modern age. Meditating on the writings of the author of the newest revelation from God for this age will bring solace and assurance that religion, far from being ineffectual, is in fact our only course of action for ourselves and for our planet.

Allah'u'abha! This book is one of the greatest works in the Baha'i Faith. There is so much to unpack here that even non-Baha'is can get a lot out of this. Read this book cover to cover, and will read again.
