HOURGLASS Veil Translucent Setting Powder Travel Size 0.03 oz

Yes, I admit, I bought this totally because of the hype. I prefer a dewy finish and because my skin is dry, powder can quickly look chalky or with a cake-like finish. I am 48 years old and this photo is not airbrushed. You can see moles and lines if you look, trust me they are there. This stuff is voodoo!!! It blends beautifully into whatever else you have on and seals it fluently. It has a slight blurring effect so if you have the onset of pore issues (like I feel I do) it works with your pores to make it look like you are not hiding in the inevitable. Also, it doesn’t seem to irritate my sensitive skin. Simply the best setting powder I have ever used. Its so finely milled -- its literally like dust... so light but its hold for setting is almost magical. It mattifies the place of your face where you don’t wanna look greasy while leaving a dewy hydrated and super glowy skin. It creates a reflection on your imperfections . I have tried many good setting powder before but this is by far the best one. It stays in place - I live in Houston where its 100 pct humidity and this blends flawlessly. Sometimes I go 6 hours without a touch up. it will become your holy grail -- truly the GOD SEND of powders. I will NEVER stray!! HourGlass should win the Nobel Prize for this formula!!!

I am glad i only got the travel version. I cant imagine paying so much for the normal size. I was expecting, based on all the TikTok videos and reviews that this would be fire, I didn't think it helped hide imperfections or that it made my makeup look any better. It did leave my face feeling really soft after, but for that I really don't think it was worth the high price tag. I felt it didn't cover any better than a cheaper powder that's 3 times this size. Now I am not saying it was trash, just that its not worth the price when cheaper brands like L'Oréal (L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Sweep & Lock Loose Powder) works just as good and is much more affordable.

I wanted a sample of this to see if I really wanted to buy the larger size and I was happy I bought this product! I have attached photos for sizing but I plan to purchase another one for travel purposes so I can keep my larger makeup at home.NON-cakey, glides on nicely with a brush, wonderful setting powder.

Very small. Lost half the powder trying to open it. Gives a nice finished look. Left my skin kind of dry, have to use setting spray with it.

I only have been able to use a couple times, but I really liked the finish. I also love hourglass products.
