Oyin Handmade Ginger Mint Co-Wash with Invigorating Cleansing Cream with Green Tea & Ginger Extracts |8 oz

This was my first co-wash and I loved it. I was skeptical at first because I wasn’t sure how well it would cleanse my scalp but it did just fine! I washed three times due to product build up. My hair felt really soft and moisturized and to my surprise my scalp felt really clean. The scent is perfect. Not too strong but strong enough to make its presence known. The bottle could be a lot bigger. I have thick 4b/4c natural hair and I had to use a good amount to saturate my hair. Otherwise, great first time experience. Looking to order more and try other products from their line!

Well RenPure stopped making my favorite rosemary mint cowash so I'm stuck looking for alternatives. This one is the only one I tried that didn't leave oil residue and was both lightly scented and didn't have a terrible perfume. The smell is a bit weird, but doesn't stick in your hair for days like others. My only real gripe is how much you pay for such a little bottle. Now if I can only find it in bulk........Pluses:Lightweight and non greasy. Rinses clean, no buildup, but also doesn't strip your natural oil.Scent is a bit strange but nonoffensive and light. Doesn't leave you heavily perfumed.Feels nice on your scalp. Makes my scalp feel clean. Good at light detangling.Drawbacks:Bottle is small and expensive, although less expensive per oz than other comparable brands.Smell is a bit strange. Not necessarily bad or chemical, but odd.

Other than the slightly medicinal smell, which dissipates rapidly, I like the consistency and the results. I can tolerate the medicinal scent better than artificial perfumes, so do not change. It moisturizes without leaving that greasy sticky itchy feeling. The product is a bit expensive due to small size of bottle. A decent substitute for Renpure Rosemary Mint co-wash. I will never understand why companies stop making popular products like Renpure has done. They lose customers and we do not return.

I have very thick, coarse, wavy Mexican hair that frizzes and puffs way up when air drying after using regular shampoo and conditioner. I tried Hair Story brand "New Wash" and loved it, but the price is obscene (for my budget). Tried a different co-wash from Amazon next that was overscented, and left a residue that made my hair feel dirty. Decided to try this product next because of ingredients, price point, and positive reviews. I looove it. The scent is lovely. Subtle, earthy, sweet, and yummy. It has a very very mild lather. Left my hair feeling softer than with any other product even though I didn't use conditioner. As it dried, it didn't frizz and allowed my natural waves to pop. So happy to find an affordable product that works well and is clearly great quality at 1/3 the price of the overpriced salon co-wash.

Like others, I was looking for a co-wash alternative to the much more expensive New Wash. This product feels and acts in a lighter, less greasy way on my fine but thick, silky hair. I love the scent, it reminds me of Brazil and its a great price. It also works really well on my son's 3C curls, so great for families with a variety of textures. I only wish that it came in a refil size or a larger size...

I like the tingle of the cleanser. I enjoy the smell. I even love the packaging/wholesome seemingly family business, but I’m not thrilled on the size. It’s only 8oz ish which I could’ve got something similar at Trader Joe’s but if I were going to get a small container of hair product and then try to barely use it to make it last longer, this would do. I tend to use about 30+ pumps to cover my scalp and run my hands through my long curly hair after a thorough scalp massage.

I was looking for a replacement for my beloved Renpure products and tried a few out. None of them came close to Oyin Ginger Mint Co-wash. This is a great option for cleansing your hair on days when shampoo is too harsh. It has a fresh, invigorating scent and my hair feels clean and soft the next day.

Love this cowash for my hair! It not only detangles my hair, but my scalp feels cool, tingly and very clean afterwards. I highly recommend this product for natural hair. I also use the berry juice spray and massage it on my scalp and into my hair before drying it. It leaves my hair feeling very soft
