As a software developer with over four years of hands-on experience using Django, I can confidently say that "Django in Production" is a valuable asset for any developer looking to take their Django applications to the next level. This book comprehensively addresses the challenges and nuances of deploying and managing Django applications in a production environment, making it an essential read for both intermediate and advanced users.

As a JS developer, I wanted to learn Python and Django to extend my backend skillset. Although this books mentions Django as a pre-requisite, I was able to follow through easily (along with some python guides). I did struggle a bit with ORMs but that’s probably a lack of python understanding.I like how some approaches although mentioned as opinionated have a clear rationale and are backed with best practices in mind.

As an early reader, I am really confident in recommending this book to anyone looking to elevate their Django skills. This book is exceptionally clear, thorough and practical.It covers advanced topics like Docker integration, CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployment strategies. It would say it is a roadmap to becoming an expert Django developer.My favourite part of book includes AWS deployment strategies and performance monitoring techniques because it provides necessary skills for effectively deploying and optimising Django apps in real world.

Its a must have book for Django developers, I have been coding in Django from last 5 years still learnt many things on how to write scalable Django project. Really liked the no-non-sense practical approach that touches almost every aspect of development that is super useful for beginners as well as experts alike.
