Awesome for Broken Token game accessories
I bought these markers for coloring my Broken Token wood kit accessories. I colored some scrap pieces of wood just to see what all the colors looked like. The marker bleeds only a tiny bit, is dry to the touch almost immediately (I wrote the color names in pen immediately after using the marker) and I think the variety of colors in this listing are great!Update: Added a picture of a dice tower, I used light grey on the outside, black inside the tower, and chestnut in the rolling tray. I did give it a wipe with the beeswax but it still feels oily. Going to give it some time to soak in but in hindsight I would skip that and just use a varnish for something like this.

Expectations and technique
For the sake of comparison, I have used very high end touch up markers made for the furniture industry. I can say that expectations are key to touching up any piece of furniture. If the item is scratched down to bare wood, it’s necessary to start many many shades lighter and build the color. If it is bare wood, the wood will suck up all the color that it can possibly take and look super dark or black…by starting lighter when this process occurs, it will be a medium to light color, not a dark one and still be workable instead of a glaring eyesore. When touching up anything, I know that any flat surface that will get direct overhead light or sunlight will never look perfect…the scratch will always be seen at different angles. No matter how good the match. Anyone who can make the scratch go away will have years of experience and will cost accordingly. On the other hand, edges, sides and corners can be touched up with modest too great success depending on patience, practice and how good your eye is for color after learning the basics. Flat surfaces are just something that with careful steps can to look some better but never new. If looking new is the goal, a table top needs to be refinished or I need to hire a pro.Next after touchup and getting it right by tapping, blotting and smearing, if I expect a color is expected to stay, the experts, use a pre-catalyzed lacquer over the top, This is if it’s a factory manufactured piece of furniture. Other types of furniture that have been refinished or hand made , have different finishes and will react drastically differently ( and badly ) just like spray paint does when it goes over cured vs uncured spray paint. I would suggest just touching up and touching up again if it starts looking bad again. Dusting with furniture, polish and oils removes touchup markers over a period of time. This set of markers from Lifreer is good to better but not great. For the sake of comparison, a single great furniture marker cost about eight dollars each. Definitely not something most homeowners are going to buy when it takes about $200 to purchase a set with this selection of colors. I have rated this product four stars based on the quality at this price point. Nothing is going to be perfect when it comes to wood touch up.So going over the basics again, start light and slowly go darker, blend with a cotton cloth or finger tip… and set expectations correctly for the location of the scratch.I hope my thoughts and opinions and photos help someone decide if a set of furniture markers might help them touch up some things in their home.

Great furniture marker set
I am lovingly called “destructive” in our household. I am always damaging something unintentionally. Whether it’s a small chip or dent in something wooden, or something else, it probably was done by me. I am also a big believer that anything can be fixed, so we ordered these to “prettify” up the areas that have been damaged. I was really impressed at the quality of these markers (but for reference, a Sharpie would’ve been what I used beforehand). I also was really impressed at the variety of colors it came with! It makes for great matching. Just keep in mind your lighting and that less is more! We learn to love imperfections in our household, so don’t expect it to be perfect, but do expect a pretty good touchup job!

This worked amazingly well at covering up dings on my front door.
If you have wood furniture or wood in your house, as almost everyone does, these LIFREER FURNITURE MARKERS TOUCH UP - 20 COLORS WOOD TOUCH UP MARKERS are extremely beneficial to have on hand. I wish I had taken a before and after picture of our front door before I used these, so I could show you how dramatically these fixed the numerous gouges, dings, and scratches that were all over the dark walnut-colored wood door. We live in a rental, and the dark door had numerous marks on it. It showed up really well because the nicks were light against the dark wood. The day this arrived, I went through the 20 available colors in the kit. I picked out the one that matched the closest. And after cleaning the door well, I went to work. It took less than five minutes before the door already looked 100% better. The matching marker covered up the damage perfectly. If you need to fill in gouges, there are other products that will do that, and then you can cover the repair with one of these paint pens. You have 20 colors to choose from, which is a good range of colors, but it won't cover every piece of wood in your house. It won't work if it doesn't match. But this is a good start, and the included colors match about 75% of the wood colors in my house. The kit includes gloves and beeswax to make your furniture look more beautiful and to protect it in the future. I think the price is reasonable, and I think it's something that's very convenient to have on hand. It saved us from either having to repaint the front door or from losing part of our deposit when we move out. I'm happy with these. How well they work for you will depend on how well you are able to match the color of your wood to one of the 20 markers available.

Furniture touch up markers
So I was excited to get these. My dinette has multiple knicks and scratches and is a griege color (cross between beige and gray). One is a small spot/knock. As you can see, it filled in the spot decently. You can still see it but it doesn’t appear without paint like it did initially. The second pic is of a scratch. While the pen again filled in the scratch, it leaves residue on either side. Now this wasn’t that big of a deal because it basically mirrors the natural markings on the table. All in all, they fill in but unless it matches your furniture exactly, you will see residue. You are able to remove the residue with simple rubbing alcohol but then you risk removing to paint for the space you were trying to cover.
