Works well

I tried to use it on 12/2 electrical wire, but it just twisted the wire instead of taking the coating off! The thing that is supposed to be used to twist the wires together will not work either! This product is a complete failure and waste of money in my opinion. I don’t want to give it any rating but I can’t submit this without doing so!

This feels of a very high quality product! I had no idea that something like this even existed and it will make my life so much easier. I am most impressed with the packaging. It presents very well in it's included case and even looks extremely giftable. I recommend.

None of the dies fit the wire correctly and the wire twister just falls out when put in an impact driver.

This is a nice addition to my tools. I love being able to strip the wires so quickly.

I decided to try this out on a project that included wiring an addition. It included a handful of sockets and switches. The wire strippers worked well as long as the wire was very straight. I had a pair of cutters that often left the end of the wire with a small slightly damaged end and these did not work well with that. I swapped out a better wire cutter and the problem went away. So, it is important to have a good, straight wire end to use these well.I also used it on a stranded wire and it worked well enough there but it did tend to grab a couple good wires as well as the wire covering. I was not particularly impressed with how it performed on the stranded wire.So, the bottom line is that I would recommend it for solid core wire jobs but will use my regular strippers for stranded wire. It takes a little practice but after five or six I had the hang of it and it really made stripping several ends quickly and efficiently quite easy. Also do not try to run your drill at full speed. Run it a little slower speed so you can control the cut better and do not force the wire in. If you do that then it should work well for you.
