This is a cheap ring and is very light weight, but it's what we expected to get. It will do the job.

We put the name of the condo property on it and hung it over the clubhouse doorIt replaces a similar one that was up for 4 yearsIt looks great !!

I bought both the red and the blue Buoys for decorations around my pool and pond in my backyard. One of them I put a screw in the post around our pond and hung the "what I thought" was 3/8 nylon rope on the Bouy on the screw for perfect display. The second one I hung on the Life guard chair which is also a decoration I made for our pool. They arrived from Amazon on April 22nd 2024, and I hung them 2 days later on Wednesday the 24th. I walked out back on Friday morning July 25th and the one on the pond on what I thought was rope had broke and it was laying on the deck. Yesterday the one on the Life Guard chair did the same thing, the fake paper rope gave way in 3 months and 3 days. They are now useless and cannot be returned. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We bought this for my daughter and son in law after they had an in ground pool put in. We have instructed our grandchildren on how to use it yo help someone in distress. Hope to never have to use but but grateful it hangs on a fence nearby.

I bought for our community pool and I was astonished at how it faded in just 45 days - I bought orange so the life preserver could be easily seen against our white fence - had I known it would fade to a pale orange on the sunny side I would have purchased a white preserver, at least it wouldn't look cheap. It will still do the job of keeping a person afloat but I wish it kept its color longer
