Although a lot lighter than I expected and it did not come with built in electronic battery load tester it did work surprisingly well. It makes use of the headlights and the starter to load test the battery which is really neat as long as you are testing the battery in vehicle. The function (steps taken for each test) takes a little time to fully understand and may not be fully understood with someone lacking some technical knowledge. After getting familiar with the steps, I believe it is a good, low cost, light weight ,no batteries needed diagnostic tool to keep in every vehicle. It easily fits into the glove box or under a seat and will always be ready to use.

A great tool for someone with a boat, RV, or pleasure car that needs a quick check now and then. The display can be seen in the bright sun and the clips are easy to use for someone with weak grip.
