From comics to TV, film to video games, toys to really just about anything else they've done, this book has it all!Firstly, this book is MASSIVE! I expected something akin to a decently sized encyclopedia, but this book is of a size where I think I need to find it a lecturn or something to stand it on.Inside this monolith is a truly in-depth exploration into the history of the world's first superhero! Literally charting everything from day 1 in 1938 I was astounded just how much is documented here! Several pages even have copies of actual script pages from films, props from TV and old adverts from magazines amongst much more.Everything is broken up wonderfully into sections (Movies, Comics, TV, Animation, etc...) so finding something specific is never too hard. It's also written in a way that I feel will not outdate it. It has a sort of "and his adventures continue to this day" air about it so in a few years when we inevitably have more cartoons, games and movies about our strange visitor from another planet, this book will be just as relevant!Only actual critique is there's surprisingly little about Henry Cavill as Superman compared to everything else. I have my qualms with how Zack Snyder protrayed Superman, but there's no denying the impact Henry's term as the Big Blue Boyscout had on his popularity.

This is both hefty in content and weight. A stunning book which is a must for any Superman stans.
