Very technical

This book is incredibly detailed however without prior knowledge of R and Bayesian statistics it’s usefulness would be limited. I purchased this as an undergraduate so both R and Bayesian stats were a new concept which meant that additional study was a must to make sense of the information in this book. It is worth the investment of time though because not only is the information presented invaluable for camera trapping, much of the fundamental information is transferable. I would not hesitate to purchase this book again and I feel that anyone who is working with camera trap data should invest in a copy.
