All seems OK

In the middle of a DIY project my mitre saws stopped working. I did a few obvious checks on the fuse and some basic wiring checks but noy joy. I needed to continue so used my jigsaw although this was not really a suitable replacement but it did at least allow me to carry on.The next day before continuing I had another look at the saw and by chance removed the brushes only to find that one of then had worn completely to nothingI was able to do a search and find out from the manufacturers website both the part number and size of the brushesA second search on Amazon showed that I could get a pack of 10 matching brushes or this pack of assorted brushes which included several pairs of the size I needed. On the basis that I don't think the saw would last for 10 pairs of brushes I ordered this pack on the assumption that I might use one day some of the othersThe pack came quickly, and I fitted 2 new brushes to the saw and it worked, and has done for some time since (during which its had quit a lot of hard used) although I have not looked to see what the wear rate looks likeBut on the performance so far I'd recommend these - around £8 o brushes saved me around £120 on a new saw so great value for money on that basisOnly time will tell of they last OK

Has a good selection of verias sizes got it if I need to repair anything they look good quality
