iPad 9.7 Keyboard Case With Trackpad, Backlit 7 Colors Keyboard Case, Auto Wake/Sleep, Wireless Bluetooth, For iPad 9.7(2018/2017) /iPad Air 2 & iPad Air/iPad Pro 9.7 (Rose Goid)

This is the second such keyboard I have purchased. My last one lasted over two years and in the end I think the battery conked out as it could not be revived and as these are priced so reasonably I just decided to bin in and buy a new one. The reason I decided to do this was because I was so pleased with the earlier one. I use it daily and it turns my ipad into a mini laptop and is incredibly useful.I went on a cruise about two years ago and wrote a blog and daily diary over six months and this keyboard and ipad came with me and was invaluable.It is very smart looking, I have it in rose gold, and the keys are easy to use and responsive to touch. I like the backlit keys and there is a facility of changing the back lit colour which is not a vital thing to have but great fun. Some days I am blue, others green.This is excellent value for money and I have tried other more expensive keyboards which are far less useful and user friendly so I really recommend this one.Two things - I have noticed that there are questions about a £ sign. If you hit shift and the number 3 you will get one. However, I am unable to find how to get a hash tag up so if anybody reading this knows how please let me know!And finally, the instruction leaflet which is tucked inside, has such small print that I had to get a magnifying glass to read it but that is just a personal thing as my eyesight is not what it used to be.Overall, a great piece of kit and incredibly useful but please note that clicking the ipad into the keyboard top is well and good but it can be murder to get out. The instructions show that in order to extract the ipad you press the two sides. Well I tell you now it does not always work and can be very very difficult to get out. I have solved this problem by keeping a small coaster in the lid to rest the ipad against so you have it propped up in front of you but it does not lock in. I really recommend something like this else you may have to have recourse to a screwdriver as I once did to prise it out.But as I said, a great keyboard and I am using it now and am very pleased with it

This is amazing. I needed to buy a laptop for my apprenticeship but instead I brought this as I already had an iPad and it’s perfect. All the same components of a laptop and is easy to use. Very sturdy and sleek. Looks very similar to a MacBook when set up. I’m super happy and definitely recommend if you can’t afford a laptop!

The keyboard is really a good buy. I use it a lot and even drop it sometimes onto the floor. Because it is sturdy it provides a good surrounding case to protect the IPAD pro from damage. My only negative comments would be regarding the hinge because i had bought the same model previously and that didnt last me 6 months but i have read about other cases where they all seem to have similar problems if using the same hinge design . I sometimes find that the keyboard fails me in that i am a fast typer and too fast for the type because words get jumbled so i end up correcting spellings and spaces etc. One has to type hard to get the letters connected to your message. But thats just a small observation. Maybe i should be more aware of charging the keyboard often . Maybe as the charge lessens the function slows. !!!!! I guess the proof of liking the product would be that when this expires from use i will buy another to replace it from the same seller.

I was in two minds whether to go for this or not, my decision being made by the reviews on Amazon.It arrived quickly and was well protected against any potential damage. I ordered the black keyboard as it's the colour I'm most used to. I am so impressed with it. It fits my new (2018) iPad perfectly and paired very quickly. Once in use, I loved the feel and touch of the keys and the response is immediate (no perceivable delay). The construction is superb being of aluminium outer ands plastic inner and, when closed, it turns off your iPad and, when opened, it turns it on.There are two things potential buyers should be aware of: 1) the 'manual' is a Chinese conversion so is not too easy to follow, however, everything is so intuitive and, once paired, is no problem ; 2) on the black version, it's easy to leave smears on the outer cover face but thats quite common, especially with aluminium cases; 3) it makes your newer lighter iPad, heavier again.You will note that I have not deducted any stars for the "awareness points" above. These are only so that prospective buyers are aware of what they're getting and if, like me, you are made aware before buying, you will not be disappointed with this keyboard - it's superb.So, if you want to choose between using your iPad as an iPad to a MacBook clone, this is for you. I've always hated the built-in finger touch keyboard on the iPad and, if you want to do some serious typing, you do need a bluetooth keyboard and with this, you get your iPad well protected too.UPDATE————I have found one problem, there’s no UK Pound symbol!! When I asked a question, the seller responded “option + 3 gives the pound symbol”. On trying that all I got was a ‘#’ symbol. SInce then I’ve tried every combination of alpha numeric keys with ‘fn,control,option & command’ keys singly or in pairs and still cannot find a way to reporduce the pound sign. As, when using the keyboard, the intenal keyboard is turned off, there’s no way of getting a pound sign without turning off this keyboard, waiting for the built in one to come up, enter the pound symbol, and then turn on your keyboard again. Not very useful for UK keyboard layout users. I can only assumme that the comment refes to another type of layount?? Anyway, I’ve deducted a star as this is quite an ommision - and NO the UK is not joining the Euro (option 2)!!!UPDATE 2—————Found it: ‘Shift’ + ‘fn’ + ‘3’ gives £ - Yippee. Still not putting back the star as the seller didn’t know anywayUPDATE 3_________I’ve now put it up to 5 stars. Why? I use the keyboard every day and yet, since I bought it I’ve only charged it once and that was to ensure that it charged effectively. It’s now still on 75% of power - that’s really good. A point I would make is that I do not have the keyboard lighting switched on as I’m sure that would probably knock the battery quite hard. I am very, very pleased with my keyboard.P.s. IF you open the cover and it’slost the connection, just switch keyboard off, count 1,2,3 and switch back on - no probs.

Excellent product, I was really pleased with it but unfortunately some of the keys have just stopped working after just 4 months of occasional use.Rather disappointing.

Easy to use, worked straight away out of the box, good quality for an older iPad, battery life is good

Poor product, keys didn't work properly, missed presses and double depressions made the product unusable. I sent the product back. Solid build and good fit but cant rate any higher due to the keyboard.

Great looking case and really good protection but the keyboard doesn’t work properly. Some letters don’t register. Really disappointing as it was not cheap
