Economical and Efficient Skincare That Cares About the Planet
Note: I'll update my review after several weeks of using this oil, as I ordered it to address hyper-pigmentation issues I'm experiencing from acne and mosquito bite scars.I'll admit that when I opened the box containing this oil, I wasn't sure what to expect - as the packaging wasn't what I was used to experiencing. But once I reviewed the contents of the box, I relaxed. And I actually respected that the company was saving money (and resources) by using literally recycled newspaper as padding.I appreciated that this product's website included instructions on how to dilute the oil, as I could tell immediately upon sniffing the sealed bottle that it would need a carrier oil. The scent of the oil was quite pleasant to me - a blend of nuttiness and spiciness. I could actually see myself wearing a fragrance with these exact notes.I cheated on the product's initial mixing and application instructions. I applied a tiny bit, just a fingertip-covered amount, of the base oil that I mixed with an equal amount of sesame oil, to my bare skin in an inconspicuous area. I wanted to ensure that I didn't have an allergic reaction to the oil itself, before tinkering with dilutions of the oil. 24 hours later, I haven't experienced any adverse responses. My trial usage of this Bakuchiol oil, combined with sesame oil, was a pleasant experience. The oil absorbed into my skin rather quickly, and left minimal residue. Having said that, I'll ensure that when I make my final version of the oil combined with a carrier oil, that I allow it to fully absorb before allowing my skin to touch clothing or sheets.I mentioned the term "tinkering" above because this order came with a vial of Bakuchi seeds. I'm looking forward to using them in my own homemade infusion, and I truly appreciated that the company included a sample of the seeds from which their product was made.I also liked that there was a glass dropper included in the package, so that I could easily remove the precise amount of oil that I needed. While I imagine that my current bottle of this oil will last a long time, especially considering that it needs to be diluted in a carrier oil? I look forward to ordering this oil again.

Amazing quality and neat extras that make this product even more authentic.
I am very impressed by this Bakuchiol oil. I have been using this for 3 weeks now and it has been very effective. You do need to dilute it with a carrier oil since it is pure extract. I use grapeseed oil as my preferred carrier oil. This is an excellent alternative to the sometimes harsh retinol. Retinol is strong and can cause the retinol purge which consists of breakouts, crepey skin texture and dryness. Obviously it depends on the individual, but even though Retinol is amazing, it takes a toll. Bakuchiol is similar and maybe not as powerful but effective and gentler. I like to alternate between the two. I have no idea if this is what is suggested by dermatologists, but it works for me.The oil does have a darker color and when I use it adds a nice tan like tone to my face. There is a natural scent, kind of herby, molasses sweet and earthy all in one, but I do strangely like it a lot. There are seeds included in a small tube container. I thought this was neat, but have no idea what to do with them. Are they to be added to the oil? Or maybe to grow your own? I'm honestly not sure but an unexpected surprise. This is made in India. Something I truly thought was authentic and just awesome about this was the Indian newspaper used to protect the glass container. Kind of like when you use newspaper when packing glassware while moving.I just love that detail and good for them for not using unrecyclable materials and re-using their old newspapers. I think that is awesome.A definite 5 stars based on the quality and cost. This will last a few months even if used daily, and you get some cool seeds and news from India. I don't understand it since it is not English, but that makes it even better.Man, do I need an overseas vacation! I have always wanted to visit India so that might be why I find this so intriguing. There is truthfully nothing not to love about this kinder surprise Bakuchiol extract!

Clearly authentic; appreciate knowing country of manufacture.
This arrived in a box with nothing about the product on it except its name. However, the bottle label has all the required information, from country of manufacture which is also present in the title of the listing and which I appreciate, to the ingredient list, dates of manufacture and expiry and the agency certifying its organic origin. The bottle itself is dark, and is accompanied by a separate dropper - that is good because the rubber on such droppers soon deteriorates and my dropper was first exposed to the oil when I started using it and not as soon as the bottle was filled. So it should last until I use up all the oil.The oil is thick, dark and fragrant, just as I know it to be. It appears to be authentic. I diluted it with a carrier oil ad used it in my hair. I plan to get a different carrier oil and use it on my skin because it has benefits for skin as well. I give this 5 stars because the oil is clearly authentic and because the company did not hide the name of country where this oil is made.

Seems good quality
This oil has a REALLY strong scent. The description warns of this, but I expected it to be medicinal-- it was like perfume.I like the glass bottle and included dropper. This is a concentrate, meant to be mixed with a carrier oil. I will probably mix it in with my body lotion or hair oil if I can get used to the scent. This comes with bakuchi seeds and I'm not sure what I'm meant to do with them.

This is the read deal! Deep blackened brown color with a red undertone. Mixes well with carriers on its own it definitely tingles. I like this on my temples for growth and on my face mixed in with my moisturizer as a form of retinol
