Knitted Creatures of the Forest (Knitted toys) Paperback – May 10, 2024

This book is really well-written and super helpful for knitting. I love how it’s laid out: each row has its own line in a table, highlighted in color, with the number of stitches you need to keep track of. There are lots of photos to guide you through the process. I used QR codes in the book to watch videos on things like how to knit increases, turn short rows, and make toy faces cute. I have many books on knitting toys, but none show how to make them cute like this one does. The videos are really helpful. This isn't just a book; it's an innovative project that combines patterns, instructions and videos to help you achieve amazing results. It’s beyond my expectations.

It's very easy to follow with detailed pictures and color coded lines. You get at least 5 p complete patterns and all the dress up clothes to match. I like that it's not too glossy in paper display,, so there is little light glare while you working on your project. No squinting. easy to follow and you can later always change out your own colors for various outfits. Just love it and you can't beat the price. after you searched on etsy and added the numbers you be so very happy to have gotten this book.

These stuffed animals are very easy to knit because the instructions are detailed and there are many pictures. Each animal has instructions for the clothes each animal is shown wearing in the book. The clothes are sized to fit all the animals which allows you to create variations in clothes and colors .

1) All the patterns are adorable! 2) I’m working on the hedgehog and when there is a change of color, the author changes the color of the background so you very clearly know what color yarn to knit with. 3) There are stitch counts at the end of every row so you can easily keep track and determine if you made a mistake. 4) The photography is amazing. 5) Maria adds intarsia and stranded knitting to her designs so an experienced knitter is not going to be bored making these projects. 6) Links to tutorial videos in the book via QRC codes. 7). Maria gives yarn options that are easy to find and reasonably priced yarns!I can’t say enough about this book. I’ve shown three knitting friends this book and they all plan on buying it.

Patterns are well written, VERY easy to understand/follow with step by step instructions and so many great photos to help along (for those of us that are visual)Highly recommended to anyone that knits!For that special occasion gift or just for a super cute woodland creature for yourself…Ohhhhh and all the clothes are interchangeable with all the creatures.. 10out10

The toys and their clothes are so cute! The clothes will fit all of the animals. The patterns are well written and easy to follow.

The detail on the written instructions. Step by step and color coded by the color yarn. And what type yarn. Very clear written.

Well written lots of pictures to make the toys, thinking an advanced beginner might be able to create them. The only drawback I found was the QR codes which provide more information, if you have no way to scan you have no access to the information. Some of items are on my project list and have been gathering materials. Just have to get some of the current projects done.
