I got this for my grandson for our day trips in the Florida heat (got some for my husband and I as well) and it works well! It isn't the type thing that will stay cool all day but it's a wonderful way to cool down quickly! And it does get chilly again if you pop it in a cooler for a few minutes! It fits him at 6yo perfectly and I can wear it too if Ii needed to! Definitely worth the money for the peace of mind to have something to cool off when you get overheated!

I ordered this Neck Cooling Tube Kids Reusable Ice Ring for my little grandson. I was hoping it would lend him the same relief I have found using a similar product.Sadly, it did not. This neck ring is cheaply made. The plastic has no cover on it to lend a buffer between the cold and skin. This made it quickly uncomfortable for my little guy.I do like the dinosaur pattern and the fact that it is designed to be refrigerated, not frozen, making it less harsh for him.Still, the plastic head digs in a bit; he was immediately trying to move that part away from his neck.Honestly, this neck cooler looks and feels like something i would have purchased at a dollar store.

Which ever style you go with they are adorable looking. The material is thick enough it feels to contain the gel or whatever the inside component is that transfers the cold to you when you wear them. Yes I did try it out in fact on myself before I let my nephew use while visiting and playing outside. I'd done as instructions indicated and simply put it in the fridge for about 20 minutes. Surprisingly it was pretty solid the internal liquid or gel but still kind of pliable almost say like a slush consistancy where using my fingers I could move it around a little and break it down by squishing it.The print and colors and how it's a dinosaur is really cute I think most kids will get a kick out of it if not wanting to see what it's all about. Wearing it may be not as fun as simply just playing with it but he did get the idea and had it on for a little while even though it wasn't excessivley warm if that. The one thing I noticed but granted my neck is larger is just that the way the head presses into your skin slightly may be something where a child may not like causeing them to take it off. I guess it just depends overall on the age/size of the child as far as if it feels uncomfortable wearing it.I was impressed and am off to search for a adult version maybe I can find a dinosaur one for me. I'd totally parade around wearing it at work all proud of myself! I think something like this would be a welcome thing in the heat filled environment I have to work in and endure on schorching hot summer days.

This is great for cooling my 5 year off after being out in the heat. It keeps it shape of a circle while frozen and fits around his neck well. My son loves the design and feeling of the silicon the gel is incased in. Good item

Unfortunately I really don’t think these get cool enough and melts quickly.

This is cute and I thought it would be a good way for my grandson to have some relief in the Florida heat but it only really helps keep his neck cool and he is not really fond of wearing it. It can be reused and it is a fun design so I cannot knock it for that and other little ones might like it better so I gave it a 3.

I'm reviewing MoYield Ice Neck Cooler for Kids, Green Dinosaur.This is such a fun idea to help children keep cool on a hot summer day. I enjoy taking our 7 year old granddaughter to the zoo for the day. I recently bought an ice neck ring for me, and she's excited to have one like grandma, but designed and sized for her.The smaller size fits her nicely. When frozen it's flexible enough to open up and slip on her neck without damaging the ring.It doesn't take freezing temperatures for this to freeze solid. It starts to freeze below 64°F. I do put mine in the freezer, but when on the go I can keep it in a cooler with ice packs, and it stays perfectly frozen until I'm ready to use it.It comes in a resealable bag to use and reuse when placing it in the freezer.While $15.99 might seem a bit pricey, I find that it's worth it to keep cool and am excited to find this item sized for children. I would buy this again. I hope they come out with more designs and would adore seeing one with a cat!As a side note, this MoYield Ice Neck Cooler for Kids is made in China.
