Q: Can it be used in a gas fireplace?

These are only incense sticks about 2 inches in length to be used in an incense burner.

Q: what type of burner/holder do you use with this that won't catch on fire??

i have i little wood type holder that came with the house when i bought it,but anything will work really the only problem i have is that they do not burn long its like they are not dry enough

Q: Could you throw these in a fireplace to burn with wood to make the house smell good?

Since they have a scent similar to burnt wood, I think you'd be wasting your money by throwing them into burning wood, no?

Q: For those who love these, and really any brand, how do you light them and keep them lit?

I wish I knew! I can't get them to stay lit. I light them with a lighter until the whole tip is glowing red, and stand them straight up, and they go right out. I've been chalking this failure up to the high humidity in FL, but maybe not, since you're asking about it also.
