Good quality shoes, but I should've downsized a half size.
The shoes are great and I can tell they're going to mold to my feet well. But I'm a little nervous about that. I bought my usual size, a 6.5, because I saw the reviews that said a half size smaller were too tight. Also, I knew that people say Huaraches always run small. So I figured the 6.5 would be tight enough to loosen perfectly to my feet. I was wrong. They fit perfectly now, with room to spare, and will probably be too big once they start stretching. I'm likely going to try to shrink them a bit, or exchange them. I haven't decided yet. But a half size smaller would've been perfect for me.

Quality product from caring company.
Beautifully made shoe. Soft leather, fits my narrow foot, half size down from my normal size and lovely Desert Rose color. This company is People and Planet friendly. Highly recommend.

Comfortable but defective
Comfortable, attractive warm weather shoe for feet that expand during pregnancy. However, I've had them for less than two months and the rubber on the sole is already unglued. For the price, I am dismayed and wish I had a way to return.

Great quality
So I was so excited about these shoes because they are so retro to me and my childhood. They arrived VERY nicely packaged. They smell great like leather and they look pretty good but the color was not quite what I thought it would be. Not bad just different. I bought the tan. I did not size up or down. I wear an 8.5 and I am glad because they fit perfectly. They may stretch as I wear them but there is noway I could have handled breaking them in to stretch as they already fit fairly snug. First day wearing them and they don't hurt too bad. Maybe my left foot more than my right. My daughter was horrified that I bought them and said "Mom you aren't bringing those back, hate to tell ya" but I beg to differ. I love them. The sole is a little harder/stiffer than I imagined but I will get used to it. I do feel like they are well made but the price seems very steep. I didn't mind pay over $100 just because I NEVER do spend money on shoes but these LOOK like $40 shoes maybe. But certainly not $100+. I do need to put some self-tanner on my feet at least so they don't completely blend in with the shoe.

Love them!
It’s amazing! This shoe may be the next internet buy. I really looked at the shoes a lot before I bought them, hoping that they were as good as they seemed. I’m so happy I did. They’re very attractive looking like maybe they cost twice as much as they did. Quality is exceptional.

Buyer Beware - Big differences between two pairs ordered
I bought this shoe based on a friend's recommendation. I'm not sure where they purchased their pair, but I typically default to Amazon based on the delivery timeline and competitive price. This was the first time I've encountered something like this so I wanted to share as a "Buyer Beware".I purchased two pairs of the same shoe in total. The first pair, I ordered a 8.5 based on the previous reviews that these ran small (I typically wear an 8). The 8.5 proved to be a little big and I was concerned that the beautiful leather would stretch. So, I ordered a second pair, this time a size 8. So here's where things get interesting... the size 8 were absolutely bigger than the 8.5. Strange. Then I started to investigate the shoe more closely. This second pair had some very noticeable differences - the sole quality was compromised (appearing thinner - see picture, pair on the right), the label on the inside of the shoe was marked differently. The first pair was embossed and the second pair was printed. The first pair said "Made in Peru", the second pair said "Made in Mexico". When I looked up where Nisolo shoes are manufactured, their website said Peru. This all seemed super fishy, so I've returned both and if I move forward with this brand, I will buy direct from the Nisolo site or Nordstrom. Another interesting note - the Nisolo site and Nordstrom sell for $138, while Amazon sells for $100. I'm bummed because this shoe is super cute and perfect for Spring weather, just need to find the right seller.

Blast from the past!!!
Being of a "certain age" I had two pairs of these Hurarche sandals and literally wore them out over the years. When I saw them coming back into style I was very happy.I debated the purchase of these particular shoes because of the price compared to others advertised. One of my original pairs was "pricy" and the other not so much so. However, after researching the company making them, Nisolo, I appreciated their company values and decided to take a chance. The shoes arrived promptly, actually sooner than anticipated. The shoe box itself was exceptional (inside the shipping box)--each shoe was carefully packed and a storage/travel shoe bag was included. There is also a detailed explanation of the company and their goals and the construction and care for the shoes.I normally wear a 9 however, reading reviews that they run a bit large and will form to your feet with wear, I ordered an 8.5 and it was perfect. As I began wearing them, they did indeed "form" to my feet. They are comfortable, attractive with anything from jeans and shorts to casual and not so casual dresses. I work in a part time position where I have to be "dressed" but not to the level of heels. These will be perfect for that task. Highly recommend.

Don’t hold up…
Seem like nice shoes, but they just don’t hold up. This is the second pair I’ve had. One of the leather straps on the first pair broke after only a few months. The sole is separating on the second pair after a handful of wears in a month.
