Have a 33 inch tire on the back and was an awkward fit with the standard spare holder, after getting the extender on, it looks better and fits better overallWith the big tire I followed another buyers advise and put some rubber piping in between the body and tire to keep it steady with no vibration since the bumper guards don't reach with the extender onTotally worth it!

Easy to install, sturdy, works as it should, only thing you will need to do is extend 3rd brake light tire gets in the way.

So I had to get this because my old bracket that came with my Jeep broke. I kinda familiar with teraflex but until not I didn't have any of their product. This bracket is steady and secure, looks great and didn't cost an arm. I have a 35" tire on the mount but I dont know what kind of setup you are using so I not saying you should do the same. The manufacturer says nothing over 33" tires because most people are using this with the stock door hinge and bracket. I beef up everything to make sure I can carry a bigger tire. This bracket is handling it great. This is worth the price.

Just something you need to know. Be ready to swap out the rear bumper.

Teraflex is a good brand for jeep parts. The fit and finish are great, it moved my spare out a couple inches

Works wonderful to hold my 285/70/17 (~33”) tire on 2014 JKU. The tail light needs to be raised some. Do recommend the Teraflex HD adj spare tire kit with taillight ext kit for a larger tire & permanent solution. This extension did clear my rear bumper too. Raised the tire a few inches up and out.Your stock spare bump stops will not reach, about 2”-3” too short. So ran down to Orielly’s to see if I can find a good alternative solution. Without the stocks touching tire, there is quite a bit of wobble and shakes the entire gate more than I liked. Found a Ford hose that fits perfect over the stock 2” inner diameter sku number 072053108774, 20432 Vulco 2” ID 51mm. RE5116. One hose cut into two pieces trimmed down to about 5” and placed on each side over stock bumps.Hope that helps.
