This works good, with a very full house and small kitchen I did already misplace the hook to pull out the steamer once and had to make do.Found it again but my confidence is not high that it will wonder off.Otherwise it fits in all my different size pots which is great.

Everything was what it said it would be.

Fantastic tool for your cooking

This item looks and photographs well. When I received the package this morning, I thought the box was empty, definitely couldn’t have been what I was expecting. Once I opened the box, I discovered the steamer set to be extremely thin, aluminum soda can thin. You can literally flex it in your hands. If I wasn’t going to return it, I’m certain I could roll it up like an aluminum foil disposable pan. I suspect that if you drop it, it will dent quite easily. I expect it will hold up to delicate use, but not what I was expecting or care to have in my kitchen.

The good news: the design is great for steaming what have you. The glass lid is helpful. Size is convenient for one or 2 people at 11 inches an can accommodate a descent sized price of fish & veggies.The bad news: extremely tinny and thin “stainless”. Very poor quality construction; metal is splotchy with darker metal showing beneath due to uneven, cheap cladding. I had to use my own washers to attach the handle to the lid, as the (collar) meant to affix the screw to the underside of the lid was punched through by the screw. The collar was basically thick aluminum foil, which I easily bent in half. The pot is so thin that I will only use it for steaming, as there just isn’t enough metal on the bottom to stop your food from incinerating. I will be surprised if this lasted. Huge, huge thumbs down.Edit: I was later contacted by Customer Service who addressed my issues.
