Connectors work well for low voltage wiring. (I used them on 24 VAC wiring for video doorbells.) Easy to use on both solid and stranded copper insulated wire. One thing to note is that I had to use pliers to close and lock the connector once the wires were inserted. That's actually good as I'm certain they are securely connected.

I bought the 2 wires splice and the 3 wire splice so this review applies to both. First impression is they came some of them closed and locked and others open. Took a while to figure out how to open them. Then I remembered they mention using a pocket knife (without any other instructions). I have a small Swiss Army knife that has a flat blade screwdriver in it and the blade fits nicely into the little black rectangular depression of the main (black) body of the lock, just right behind the (transparent) lock tab. By twisting the screwdriver, it forced the locking tab to release off of its latch just a little. Then go to the other side and do the same thing again. Hold the splice just right or you will close it tight again. Once both locking tabs are released, swing the top open.

Worked perfectly for installation of my under-cabinet low voltage LED lighting. I ran 24 gauge wire behind my drywall and had to splice the wiring to the under-cabinet light. These connectors worked flawlessly.

Wouldn’t fully penetrate the insulation to attach to the wire.

The connections would not fit my wire gauge.

So, these came in a day earlier than expected which I Always appreciate! But what i appreciate even more is the security &ease of use with using these wire connectors! It is TRUELY EASY! With these connectors you don't even need to strip the wire before using them, there are metal pieces that go into the wire once you latch it back closed. They also help keeping all the wires together! I used to have to cut wires, strip them, warm up my soldering iron to solder them, then use heat shrink tube to cover the colder joint then used tape, zip ties or some form of securing the wires together, with these you just open the tabs on each end, slide the wire into the opening and snap the lid back down to make the connection &secure it! EASY PEAZY! i would definitely recommend these to anyone using wires for just about anything! They are defiantly a faster fix &more secure than most ways. I would also def buy these again, just a bigger assortment of sizes &more of them. If you work with wire &not sure about these, do what i did &buy this smaller package like me, JUST BUY THEM THOUGH, THERE AWESOME! I Highly doubt you'll regret it.

Used to join some cables at the small end of the acceptable range for these connectors. Worked perfectly and the joints seem to be robust. Happy to have the remaining connectors in my toolbox for next time.
