Panasonic At Its Apogee Once More
Fabulous new style Panasonic oven, or 'air fryer'. Gorgeous form, style and colour scheme. The side navy panel, contrasted with the black top and front panels are simply gorgeous to behold in one's kitchen. Not to mention the simply beautiful, golden handle with which to open-&-close the ever-essential cooking basket of an air fryer. The cooking presets have worked marvelously till now. Have cooked a range of things in the air fryer, such as bacon rashers (batch cooking), fries (tasty, less oil than deep frying but they took me 'bout 40 minutes to fully crisp with a golden hue at the full operating temperature of 200 degrees Celsius on the 'chips pre-set'; don't know if I'd bother doing that again. Maybe every once-in-a-while) and tofu (I crisp them after having splashed some Kikkoman Mirin-Fu and Organic, bottled Sunflower oil over them on the 'steak pre-set' for 'bout 16 minutes total and they turn-out wonderfully flavoursome each-and-every time) to name but a few of the things I cook / bake in it, even though these are mostly foodstuffs the Sun newspaper stated an air fryer couldn't cook convincingly! All-in-all, an excellent buy on the Amazon split payment option at better-than-half-price plus further discounts during the last Prime Member Days Deals. A real credit to Amazon having been a stockist of this electrical good. Paid-off the split payment ahead of time which is an option I love to have. Needless-to-say, it's a dream-to-clean and extremely simple to utilise. It's simply marvelous to see Panasonic from Nihon being in such top form on the electrical market. Not-to-mention, their latest 4k, Oled TVs!! Although, we're still at 4k screens only?! Wishing them all-the-best for their shining future. Panasonic, what a brand on the Amazon network!

Edit: - Better Than Average Air Fryer
This air fryer has a nice design, if not a little cheap feeling with a largely matte and gloss plastic construction, but it fits into a modern kitchen. The touch sensitive controls are easy to understand, you can quickly tap on each coloured preset and adjust cooking time and temperature. It does have the usual built in safety features with automatic pause once the cooking basket is removed just as you would expect, as well as a built in light to help you see through the viewing window of the basket. With the top and bottom heating elements for 360 degree airflow, we were expecting it to do a much better job with cooking foods like chips throughout without needing to shake/turn them as much, as this is one of the main features of this air fryer. Unfortunately, this feature did not seem to make a difference whilst cooking, as it left chips that were underbaked yet burnt to a crisp on the edges with some chips not being cooked properly at all after they had been in for 30 minutes - not a great start. It also lets off quite a strong chemical smell the first time you use it - it’s usual with these sorts of things but we noticed it was quite strong. The pre-sets seem to only be suitable for smaller portions of food so you are left guessing how long to bake for and what temperature to use. In terms of noise the built in fan is not too loud, it has a nice pleasing hum to it and isn’t louder than a conventional oven which is good.Overall, it’s a decent air fryer but it’s not amazing. For the price, I expected a lot better performance. It’s possible I got a dud unit or did something wrong, but we were disappointed with the results and it didn’t meet expectations.EDIT: We have been using the AirFryer more and ensuring it gets 3-5 minutes to pre-heat before we put anything in it. This seems to really help with cooking - frozen fries/chicken nugget type foods come out really well in it - better than the oven, so I have updated this review to 4 Stars.

Panasonic 6L Air Fryer
A well thought out and designed air fryer. Clearly superior quality as you would expect from Panasonic. The steam injection system works well and crisps items like chicken. The see through window and light are clearly a bonus. I don’t know why but it seems to cook quicker than my previous air fryer. Easy to clean and operate; I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Small but perfectly formed!
I am very pleased with this item. It is small enough for one or two people and since I live alone, it is ideal.Every thing I have cooked in it has turned out well.

it really does the job
It is economical, easy to clean and really does bake or roast the food as good as any conventional oven.
