Rust free
They've been my daily use knives for about 7 8 weeks now. They've been slicing veg, meat, fruit, all sorts. They came sharp, and play well with my adjustable knife sharpener, although it was a little tricky deciding what angle to make the edge to match.Pack of three quality knives with a a nice balanced handle, with a reasonable price tag. The only issues I have is that they are relatively heavy, and they can suction onto food items like tomatoes or cucumbers, or garlic, which they is a bit trickier to remove. However it seems typical for knives of this level.Don't put in the dishwasher!

Excellent mid-range knives
This is a boxed set of three kitchen knives that are affordable and made using mid to high end stainless steel. They are well made using full tang stainless steel and riveted Pakkawood handles (a wood and resin composition that is designed to look like wood but is engineered to be more durable). The finish is good overall although there are a couple of small imperfections like a tiny piece missing from one wooden handle and a small blemish on the steel blade. Minor things and of no consequence in use. The wood is very smoothly finished and the handles are comfortable to grip, although the weight is very slightly tipped towards the blade, which may make your hands ache if you use these for a lot of preparation. The trio of Chef’s, Santoku and Paring knives are a good starting point for any new kitchen to be added to over time and so would be an attractive gift for an engagement, wedding or housewarming. The gift box looks good with this in mind but the fit on the knives inside is a little haphazard and a pity as it lowers the initial impact of what is an extremely good value set of three knives.
