Got this for a trip from the US to Europe and, after reading that some converters do not work for appliances, such as hair straighteners (the important one for me!), This one does the job. I am in Europe now and it is working great! Note that it also has other functions and is adaptable to other plug configurations. Highly recommend and comes with a soft travel case!

I travel to Europe and the UK at least italics a year so was thrilled to find this adapter. Most that are similar to this don’t have a way to plug in vBecause of the way asthat the prongs don’t stick out enough to properly & securely, With 2 USB and 2 USB Options allow several things to be charging without having to wait a long time

Item is defective. No power is going to any of the ports (usb, 120, etc) tried multiple outlets, even other plugs - it’s definitely this unit.

A lot of travelers are unclear about this, but converters are NOT transformers. Make sure you read the description of what this little converter does carefully before using it in Europe. And then look up additional info to make sure you're using this safely.That disclaimer out of the way, this device looks like it will work for my trip to Europe in two weeks. I wrote down everything that can be used with it on a label so I wouldn't make any silly mistakes and burn out my straightener. I like the variety of outlets. Makes this device very versatile instead of just a one-purpose thing. One of the USB-Cs is a little sunken, so I took off a star — I can tell that port won't be usable after a few uses. I also appreciate how compact this device is in comparison to some others I've had in the past. I'm traveling light and would rather not waste space I could use to fit another piece of clothing.Will update once I see how well it actually works during my trip.

Not all electric devices that we are traveling with will work at 220V. Many do, but this Mapambo 220V to 110V Voltage Converter will solve the problem when going to Middle and Southern Europe (as mentioned on the website, this unit will not work on the British Isles). I am just wishing that the power limitation (only up to 600 W) would be marked more obviously on the unit. The information is there, just in rather small script. I really like the four USB outlets its small size. Despite the power limit, if you travel to Europe often, this is a useful and worthwhile purchase. I had no chance to test it, but I will next time when I travel to Europe.

I travel to Europe once a year at least. A 220V to 110V Voltage Converter is something I cannot live without when I am on the trips. I'm getting this one as my spare converter. It's indeed very useful when traveling there with different voltage standard. I use my Waterpik or some other devices with no adapters built in the plugs, which need to use this voltage converter to avoid the risk of damage due to voltage differences.

Having a lot of family in Europe I travel there at least once a year. So far I've allways had to be mindful of what electronic devices I cannot take. This little converter changed that. On this trip I've been able to bring the same devices in used to using at home (like my heating pad without which I cannot fall asleep as I have serious shoulder problems). An added benefit is that it has usb ports so I don't have to bring additional chargers for my phone/tablet/watch. And a huge plus is the included fuse - haven't had it tripped yet (and hopefully wont) but it does provide a piece of mind.

I bought this adapter for over seas and almost lit my water warmer on fire and burnt it .
