Full Length Roof Framer

Best rafter book period!!

I call this book a tool because I use it to get the length on material take off for roof framing . The commons , hips , valleys , and jacks lengths are accurate and the tables are easy to read and use . Every framer could use this and should carry one in their tool box to help save time calculating rafter lengths .

In my 30+ years as a framer you have to have this in the truck. I have bought several of these books and always have one in my pouch.Very handy to have.

Wow, this book brought back some very pleasant memories of roofs that I have framed. Everything you need is in this book. It took me a while to get used to it but once I got the hang of it I was able to cut roofs on the ground and have them fit. This book and a framing square are all you will ever need.

FULL LENTGH ROOF FRAMER is a book full of rafter cuts, sheating cuts,rafter lengths,info on irregular roofs, ect.. Both the estimator and carpenter will find this book handy. I would recommend buying this book along with the ROOF FRAMERS BIBLE as a set. With both of these books an estimator should be able to be accurate on his lumber for framing any roof and a carpenter will find it very handy to have these around especially on the more complex roof framing jobs. This book is an advanced book for carpenters and estimators it is not written for someone that does not have a working knowledge of roof framing.

This book is great for and roof job that needs to be done. Would highly recommend it

Use this with some youtube and build anything!!

This little honey belongs in every carpenter's tool box and library. You need several for you and your fellow roof framers. It has been in print for over one hundred years and there is nothing close to its' application in the field. This conveniently small rugged text should be used in raftering instruction after the theory has been taught. I personally discovered it several years after my training and was surprised it wasn't mentioned in class.
