Finally Finding Home

This book was a short and sweet read. The characters were likable and relatable. I especially felt a kindred spirit in the main girl. Even though our stories are much different, I was able to empathize with her feelings of betrayal, loneliness, and brokenness. The main guy of the story was swoon-worthy enough to pique my interest. There were moments when I smiled at the cute cheesiness that comes with a new romance and moments when I cried from the emotions that this story stirred up. As a romance, it is a sweet and pure story that you can read without shame. As a Christian fiction, it brings up some matters that I feel are relevant to a lot of people, especially those who feel betrayed by their church or family as well as those who had major dreams taken from them and either find themselves angry and pulling away from God or clinging dearly to Him for comfort and finding peace. If you want an overly complicated book filled with action and drama, skip this one, but if you want a quick read that makes you feel connected and good at the end of the book, this one is for you.

Once you get thru the character development, which is partial to any writers story, you will find yourself caught up into each of the characters. This is a terrific story of love, redemption, and romance. My dad even read it and he has never read Christian romance before! I found him connecting to the characters and crying reading one of the chapters!

This was a well written story with great character development. The author described and developed a well-rounded world a reader can easily feel apart of. The love story was sweet and progressed believably. This was my first Christian romance, and though I am not Christian myself but am spiritual, the author’s interweaving of faith into the characters enhanced the overall story. Looking forward to reading more from the author.
