Makes lighting your charcoal barbecue so easy
Excellent product which makes lighting a charcoal barbecue so much easier and no need for chemicals. It works really well as a blower to to get your barbecue or fire pit roaring. Wish I’d bought one years ago.

Great, but cable too short
Cable should be two metres long - it’s just too short as is

Great help in lighting my wood burning stove
We use our wood burner occasionally and have a cold chimney which causes a down draught. And a poor smoky start to the fire. A blast of the looft air lighter up the chimney, followed by ignition of the fire itself makes fire starting easy. The lighter does get very hot so take care where it’s put down.

Amazing Product
Hard-wearing. Lights a BBQ/fire pit in minutes. Saves on kindling and fire lighters. Super powerful. Great product. Highly recommended for anyone who cooks outdoors on a regular basis... And has the appropriate outdoor electrics and cooking facilities (BBQ/Charcoal pizza oven/firepit/bonfire).

Beware the short cable
I normally use a chimney style starter, with a few pieces of kindling and a tiny bit of fire lighter block. It works but it's time-consuming. I bought this to speed things up, but I'm not sure it does. Not much anyway.Using briquettes, I found that it takes much longer than the claimed 60 seconds to get them going. Probably double that. And then I felt I had to use it on several places to get an even distribution. Also, I had to use an extension lead, of course. Seriously, who has a power socket within 1.3 metres of their BBQ??It's a neat little gadget which does work and it is fairly convenient. It could be better though. I'm being generous with 4 stars. I'd give it 3.5 if I could.
