Simply plug it in turn it on and zap you're in action. seems to be working just fine so far, has eliminated any number of flying insects in the three days we've had it.

BIG European Wasp
European Wasps have made a nest in the cavity of a wall we are currently working on.Thought this ‘Mosquito Zapper’ was rated for outdoors, instructions clearly state Indoor use only. However, we have an open covered porch ( not finished)Removed the two metal grilles from the zapper allowing direct access to the electric elements…. Wasps slowly being reduced in numbers, zapper left on all night.Quoted £150 to remove the nest by pest control… £26 ( plus small amount electrickery) seems to be going above andBeyondZapper suspended 2 mtrs above ground,No children or pets in household👍🏻😬

Very Effective
This replaced one that had died, but is so much better. The local bugs don't have a chance.

4.2 killer volts!
This RJEDL Fly Killer is rated at 4.2 killer [sic] volts. That should be enough to give the little critters something to tell their pals and, hopefully, they will bother someone else this summer! If nothing else, I should save a small fortune on antihistamine creams and fly papers. It certainly looks neat and well-made. It's also very light so it should not be a problem to hang up in the flight path. The mains cable could be a tad longer but that's a common moan with many bits of electrical kit.Within a few minutes of powering it up indoors, it successfully zapped two tiny gnats and frightened off a house fly. I think the key to successful exterminations (as advised) is to position the lamp in a darker corner where the UV light is the main attraction for flying insects. This makes sense because otherwise they just tend to hover around a light bulb or near a window. Now the weather has turned a lot warmer, the unit is coming into its own and the slide-out tray needs a weekly clear out.A well-made zapper that Frank would be happy to recommend.

This summer, I'll have the last laugh
So, the neighbours have a tiny koi pond in the back garden, but the fish don't seem to be able to control the insanely large mosquito population that hatches in the water year after year. I'd just sneak a weekly chlorine tablet into the pond if it wasn't for the koi, but the situation calls for a different approach, and this electric zapper is exactly what I needed. The device has a very strong UV light that attracts flying insects from a fairly big distance, and a double power grid that kills them fast and efficiently. The fly zapper needs a mains socket nearby to work. The device is weatherproof and is suitable for outdoor use, but works just as well inside the house, too. It is effective, especially after sunset, and the collection tray is easy to clean. To get the insects that got stuck in the wire grid, it is strongly advised to pull out the plug, then use the supplied brush to swipe them off into the tray.
