It all works perfect.
Very well made and well-designed. All worked great for all the attachments that came with it.

Use with a cyclone separator or dust bag
This is connected to my DeWalt portable and mitre saw with the provided adapter. The other end easily fits my dust separator. The 17-foot reach lets me not trip over my sawdust removal while I'm working, so it's excellent for my use. I'm not a pro woodworker; I just don't like having to clean up a layer of dust over everything, even for small projects. With a tight fit, this won't impact your vacuum's suction —I'd still recommend a 6+ HP vac. You also absolutely must use a cyclonic dust separator and a dust prefilter for your vacuum, or you'll just be eating up your vacuum filters and losing suction fast. This collection hose is just one part of the solution -- it will not make your workshop shop vac any better at dust removal unless you set it up with the correct components.

Works well.
One end fits my thirty-year-old Ridgid 12gal vac perfectly. The other end has a plastic spring clip that holds any of the included rubber adapters. One of those adapters fits very snugly inside the dust port of my old DeWalt quarter-sheet finish sander, and another fits snugly around the outside of the dust port on my newer 5" DeWald random-orbit sander.Although the adapters are somewhat flexible rubber, and fit very well, they do occasionally fall off of the connected tool; but that seems to be the case with every other adapter and/or hose I've tried. Since each sander uses a different adapter, I just left a piece of tape around each connection until I was done with the project. The end of the hose that holds the adapters also has a plastic ring that slides around the hose, covering or exposing some vent holes, to adjust vacuum pressure available at the tool. Unfortunately, that ring refuses to stay still after any adjustment. Fortunately, I have no use for it in any position other than fully closed -- so I just taped over it.The third place for tape was holding the sander's power cord to the hose, to make keeping them both out of the way easier. Some clips do do this could have been included, and would have been appreciated (but were not expected).Good system; just make sure you have some extra tape available.

Doesn't fit my Rigid vacuum and isn't really worth it
I got this because I was hoping it would make a big difference in keeping my shop clean. Unfortunately, I ran into a couple problems. The first is that it didn't fit my Rigid shop vac. I don't know if I have some oddball version of Rigid's shop vac (it is about 15 years old) but the adapter wouldn't fit. The hole in my vacuum was too large and the adapter wouldn't fit over the house. It did fit my Craftsman shop vac, but I don't keep that one in my workshop because it's larger and harder to store. So, out came the duct tape. For a test this was okay with me. If everything worked out well then I could always find an adapter or rig something up. If I had to live with duct tape each time I wanted to use it even that would be okay. It's a simple enough fix that I could live with it.Unfortunately, I didn't find this to be all that much better than using the bag that came with my Dewalt chop saw. I included pictures showing 3 cuts of a 2x4 with the vacuum running and 3 cuts of the same 2x4 with the collection bag that came with the saw. There is less dust with the vacuum running, but there's still plenty of dust not collected. Which means I'm still sweeping up afterwards. Maybe not as much, but if I'm sweeping anyways then what difference does it make if it's less or more?Overall the kit isn't bad. The hose is plenty long in case you need the vacuum on a separate circuit from the tool. The adapters fit well (tried them on the chop saw, a Rigid circular saw, a Black and Decker circular saw, and a Rigid orbital sander). Everything is well made but in the end isn't worth bothering with in my case. Maybe it needs a more powerful shop vac?

Good heavy duty hose with all the different size attachments
The media could not be loaded. This hose is well made. I like all the size attachments. It made it easy to connect to my shop vac. I can still use all my attachments as well. Very happy with this product.

Wish I had this years ago
With this set, I can finally say goodbye to putting up with spewing sawdust or duct taping my shop vac hose. One end of the hose fits my shop vac, and the other end fits my Dewalt router, Dewalt chop saw and Milwaukee router. There are many different adapters, so I am looking forward to using it on my biscuit joiner, bandsaw, sanders, etc, as well. At 17’ the hose is plenty long, so I may cut it into a shorter one for stationary machines and a longer one for handheld tools. A great addition to the shop, recommended.

Very handy set
This hose and tool attachment set is great. The adaptors let me attach to all of the different brands of woodworking power tools I have. The hose is 17 feet long so it gives you freedom to move around your project with ease. The flexible adaptors work with Festool, Dewalt, Makita and others. I attach this hose to my downdraft sanding table that is hooked up to the dust collector for near dust free sanding.
