Good information on a historically sidelined family
Having read extensively about this period in history,it is always illuminating to read another biography(or in this case two)in order to put another perspective on the period. This book was no exception and I particularly found interesting the details of this family and its descendents. If I have to be critical it is with respect to the information that was not perhaps really pertinent to the family concerned, such as the detail given to the Pilgrimage of Grace where although Charles Brandon was involved such detail was not strictly relevant.A family tree would also have been a help to anyone less familiar with the protagonists invloved

Interesting story spoiled
Interesting story spoiled either by bad grammar or appalling proof-reading. Never seen so many instances of apostrophes in the wrong places, sometimes several per page. But a good insight into a couple not as well publicised as many.

This is brilliant and the detail is well researched and written
I bought this book as I am fascinated by the Tudors. I didn't know much about Mary other than her marriages. This is brilliant and the detail is well researched and written.

Bit short
Enjoyable read however I felt the the book was too short thereby the text was rather rushed and one felt the author was skipping too much

Most interesting facts; I thought I knew about "The Tudors" but this brings a human side to them. The author has made me laugh several times too at the bungling and pompousness of their lives.
