Vegan Milker Soul
I received the Vegan Milker Soul a couple days ago and I am in love. It cost more than I wanted to spend until I realized it would pay for itself by no longer needing to purchase cheesecloth straining bags or purchasing prepackaged nut milks at elevated prices. The "Soul" version of this product came with QR codes (on the box) to download the manual and recipe book that is filled with information about the history of nut milks, the company, the safety measures adhered to in the making and use of this product, and comparative ways to make various milks, which was valuable to me. In response to my inquiry, the company confirmed the metal strainer does not have aluminum, nickel, cadmium, copper, or any other metal except stainless steel. The recipe book reads: "After intense chemical tests carried out by Bureau Veritas and TUV Rheinland in Germany, and by the Plastics Technology Center (AIMPLAS) in Spain, Vegan Milker has been approved to be used with water at 100 degrees (for a maximum of 15 minutes) without any chemical or toxic compound migrating to the food or beverages that are produced." Knowing that brought peace of mind because I wanted to primarily make coconut milk, which requires heat. I successfully made my first batch, yesterday, and it is so good – better than the stores. Something I wondered was if the bottom of the strainer was solid or made of metal mesh. It is solid, which allowed me to use the wooden mortar with as much pressure as I wanted without the fear of damaging the unit. Before using the kit, I seasoned the wood with olive oil, 3x, then another following its use. The wood arrived especially dry and it absorbed the oil quickly and thoroughly. After making the milk (using coconut flakes), I found it easy to clean, which I had been worried about. While flushing it with hot running tap-water, every "flake" dislodged and was easily rinsed clean before finishing with a sudsy brush. I am excited to add this unit to my kitchen and wanted to share what I learned with other potential buyers who may be hesitant due to the materials the milker is made of. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and creates milk that only contains ingredients I choose to put in it. It doesn't get any better than that.

Easy to use, great for cashew milk
I’ve used the vegan milker a couple of times and can say that it has met my expectations. Note, you will need additional tools for success: immersion “stick” blender, small spatula, bottle brush. I recommend not putting anything in the dishwasher. Also, use a gentle sponge and gentle dish detergent (not Dawn). Make sure you lift the strainer up and let it drain by gravity for a while before using the mortar to squeeze the last bit out, or else you’ll make a mess. Use a skinny spatula to scrape out the nut solids and save it and use it for cooking. The bottle brush will make cleanup super easy.I used to use a blender to make cashew milk, which is ok, but it is much nicer using this fine filter, as there is no sediment left behind. I like to add vanilla extract, a bit of agave syrup, and a pinch of salt. Also, make sure you search for different sellers on here, as some sellers really inflate the price. I paid 29.99 for the wood mortar version.

I have been looking for this product for so long....
So I have been looking for a way to strain my almond milk for YEARS! I have ruined so many fine mesh bowl type strainers by applying force to get the milk out of my almond puree. THIS product solves that problem. I love that the strainer has legs, and comes with a wooden "mortar" to get all the milk out of the almonds! Legit the most useful item I have found. I do not use an emulsion blender as recommended, I use my vitamix blender and then use the strainer and mortar in a large glass baking dish to strain the milk. I wish they sold the strainer alone, however it is so useful I would buy they set again just to get the strainer. The Glass pitcher that comes with is not really useful to me, It does not have a "spout" on it so when you pour from it it rarely goes in the intended cup. The wooden lid that comes with the glass pitcher is not airtight in the way that you can invert the pitcher to mix/stir what is in the pitcher.

Excellent!!!
I'd love to kiss the person who invented this! I couldn't stomach buying an almond cow machine but was debating it due to being SICK AND TIRED of nut bags. Then I came across this little baby! I made perfect milk in less than 5 minutes literally on the first try. The reviews stating how messy this is DID NOT follow directions. I didn't get a drop anywhere. It works exactly as described. I have a vitamix hand blender and it worked amazing with this. I will look forward to making my milks now instead of dreading the task. I'm just so over nut bags. This was super quick clean up too. The only thing I think they need to change is the pitcher could use a pour spout. Otherwise, this thing is pure perfection. The fact that there's no mechanics to tear up and it was cheap compared to the machines out there makes it a win win. It makes beautiful pulp free milk. No pulp at all!

First batch of oat milk was easy and great
Everything was unpacked. Every thing was washed. Wood parts were oiled. Instructions were read. Water was heated and added. Oats added. A brief wait to soak oats. Extracted the fluid and added the bulk fiber to my morning oatmeal. Made Macha tea and added stirred oat milk. It was great. Consumed first batch in three days with green tea, chi tea, and coffee. All tasted great and better that the carton we buy from a store. Only disappointment was it did not froth. Next plan to make cashew milk and I expect it to froth since it has fats. Then plan try mixing oat milk for sweetness and cashew milk for fat in 1:1 ratio. The cleanup was easy except that it was a lot of water spraying to get the filter screen totally clean. I can recommend the Müldi Soul model I purchased.
