Graco® SmartSense™ Soothing Baby Bassinet – Smart Newborn Bassinet Detects and Automatically Responds to Baby's Cries – for Newborn Babies to 6 Months

This was a perfect investment for our girl💕 She started sleeping peacefully through the night around 5 weeks and we give some of the credit to this amazing product! Very sturdy, the price is nice for the high quality product! I will say she is now 8 weeks and a chunky girl 😊 The rocking setting has become a bit louder than when first purchased. Nothing loud enough that kept us from sleeping but sensitive sleepers may consider.

Assembly was easy, the vibration feature is nice, but the build quality is lacking. The speaker for the noise or Bluetooth is pretty bad. Worst part, is this unit is VERY LOUD when swaying at any speed. The bed knocks and bangs on each end when swaying, making it very difficult for the baby and us to sleep. Also, you can't reduce the speed of the sway; you have to turn the sway off then back to a lower setting which causes it to stop abruptly instead of just slowing down. The mat inside doesn't fit very well either, much smaller than the actual bed.

I had a fisher price motion bassinet before I purchased this one where I had to manually rock the bassinet and I hated it! this self soothing bassinet with cry detection is wonderful it’s similiar to the snoo without the price tag.. I love it.. puts my baby to sleep and keeps her asleep .. when the rocking is getting going it makes a knocking sound but once it’s in rhythm the bassinet is pretty quiet. I love that the sound from the music or white noise comes through the bassinet and it is louder for the baby then for us.. my only wish (graco if you’re reading this) is that there was a dim option for all the buttons because if the basinet is on the control panel is illuminated and the light is a little much for a dark room. I just wish there was a dim button or a go dark button.I don’t have any squeaking and my bassinet rocks back and forth very smoothly.. I would say if you get this bassinet and have those problems maybe you got a bad one try and return for a new oneOverall this basinet has made a world of difference to help keep my newborn asleep I can’t say enough how much I love this product! I would recommend this bassinet to all my friends!

The media could not be loaded. This bassinet is an extremely reasonably priced soothing bassinet. I really wanted to love this as an alternative to a Snoo, but ultimately I found it to have a very finicky (and somewhat alarming) rocking mechanism. Overall the unit is fairly nice looking. The metal legs and plastic body don’t leave a high end impression, but it does the job. the actual bassinet and netting are nice. Comparing with the Snoo, it obviously has a much better build quality but it should at several times the price. The cry detection works well and the bassinet starts to soothe without a hitch. Sounds are at a much more reasonable volume compared to the Snoo which can be rather loud. Another bonus is that this bassinet is operated with a few touch buttons on the bassinet, no app required!Where this bassinet lost me was the noise the bassinet while rocking and more importantly the a weirdly strong swing that it does occasionally that makes the bassinet knock into the other side. It’s not clear why it does. Mostly it will start with a gentle back and forth to gain some momentum, other times it will give it a forceful push and knock the bassinet into the opposite end which is quite jarring. There's a lot of play between bassinet and base so it's not clear if there is some sort of misalignment that would cause it to do this. Either way it shouldn't happen. It it weren't for this one issue I would likely have overlooked the noise it makes while rocking and kept it.

This bassinet is nice overall. My baby is naturally a good sleeper, and this makes her a great one. Sometimes I have issue with it though. Sometimes the cry detection doesn’t work, and other times it’s so sensitive that it goes off when my dog snores and wakes the baby up. Also sometimes it squeaks. But it is on carpet so mostly is pretty quiet. Not sure if I would purchase again. I like that you don’t need to pay monthly and it looks pretty nice.
