A female friend of mine said she searched all over Portland but couldn't find a purple umbrella. I searched purple umbrellas on Amazon, and this one looked perfect - and it is. It was shipped with care, well protected, then instead of being in a clear plastic bag inside, it's in its own branded personal umbrella box. The color exactly matched the site. My friend was very happy with her gift. Portland's rainy season just started in earnest this week, so I hope to find out how the umbrella did, especially during wind gusts.

For a winter trip to the UK (think rain and lots of wind) I needed a giant, extra-strong golf umbrella. But I WANTED an umbrella that could be the right compromise of protection and stability while still fitting in my small backpack. Having just returned from said windy-rainy trip, this model did an adequate job. It wasn’t perfect against the wind and did snap inside-out a few times, but it was solid and never felt like it would break apart. It was large enough to keep my upper body dry. The auto open/close feature isn’t 100% accurate—you still have to do some of that work for closing—but overall worked well.I also chose a turquoise color which meant my umbrella would never get mixed up with the many black ones around nor that I would forget it. I liked that.Recommend, and would buy again.

Was very happy with this. And looks good and easy to use and stor. Would buy another if needed.

Update: The seller contacted me and offered me a full refund for the umbrella which did not work properly. I appreciate the company stands by their products. I plan to buy my next umbrella from them again.Original review: This seemed like a very nice umbrella. I got it to replace a 15 year old one that I keep in my car. Unfortunately the first time I attempted to use it I found that it does not stay open, so it is essentially useless.

It seems like the best small umbrella we ever had, liked them so much bought two more.

Bought it for my husband going to Rome in October looks like we will have rainy days. Quality is very high end handle very fancy. Not cheap looking at all.

The media could not be loaded. I received this umbrella a few days ago, no rain so far so I have not used it yet.It seems sturdy. The colour slightly changes in the pictures. So the closest colour to the true colour is the pictures that show the umbrella in a bag. The colour has a little gold/green vibe too it and I think this is because of the Teflon protective layer. Although not exactly the colour that I was hoping for, I have decided that I like it.Can’t wait to try it.
